    One of the most commonly used print film emulations in Hollywood is Kodak 2383. It’s a legendary stock that was used in films like Joker (2019), Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, and many more. In this video, we will try to recreate Kodak 2383 Print Film Emulation using Glenderaterra LUT from our Premium Bundle. This LUT works with footage from literally any camera, BMPCC, Canon, Sony, Nikon, DJI, and Red and Arri (Forgive us if we are missing any).

    I’ve noticed that people are using different blend modes for film grain, but seems like «overlay» is most used. Is there a reason why you choose «hard light» here? And do you always use it for film grain?

    • @Cinnovations
      @Cinnovations Рік тому

      Film grain has to behave a certain way depending on what is there. A general grain looks unrealistic and amateurish these days.

      @@Cinnovations So hard light looks more realistic than overlay, okay. Thanks!

    Increasing the "skin" in those hues before the other 2 lumetri fx-es also increases the "skin" hue wherever those hue might be in the image. Is just what I see when switching before and after that lumetri skin. :( Thanks for the tutorial.

    • @ColoristFoundry
      @ColoristFoundry  3 роки тому +1

      A better fix is to create a mask with specific lumetri layer ~ loosly around skin areas.

      @@qwezo Спасибо, но такого видео много про создание своего LUT. И, кстати 3DLutCreator это делает намного круче. Мой вопрос был немного другим. Как использовать палитру цветов (полученную из какого то кадра фильма), что бы создать именно на основе этой палитры LUT файл? В вашем видео никто палитру не использует, а просто покрутил пару параметров.
