Chella: THANK YOU! I'm shopping tomorrow for corn & I bought some DELICIOUS Eden Organic Stone Ground Mustard last week. I can't wait to eat some grilled corn! YUM!
Take fresh corn. Peal back the husk. Removed the silks.Pull husks back up. Cook 80% then remove husk and toss back on the grill for the last 20% charring and adding flavor. Butter, Salt, pepper and enjoy. Total cook time should be around 18-20 minutes. Cook each side in husk for 4 minutes then rotate 1/4 turn. Do all 4 sides like that then de husk and grill till you see charring on each side. That's how I do it. You can add hot pepper flakes or cayenne if you want it spicy. Cook temp should be low to med. You don't want to be setting the husks on fire. Try my suggest and let me know for the good or bad.
Just grill the corn for goodness sake. don't over think it' husk it, put it on the grill with a continuing basting with olive oil and perpper. done. all you need.
I’m lucky enough to have a large acre garden at home. I pick my sweet corn, soak it in water for a half hour and it’s right to the grill. I get the charcoal nice and hot! Real hot. Rotate every 10 or so minutes. Total of 30-40 minutes. I get a nice char on the inside and they are delicious. This has been my go to and I love it. Definitely will try these suggestions in the future.
You lost me at “pull away the silks”. The best part of grilling corn in the husk is that the silks come off easy after grilling (besides the taste). Throw a wood chunk on the hot side with them and tada: all the smoky goodness you claim is lacking. Whenever I hear this “tip”, I secretly judge the person hasn’t shucked enough corn to suggest pulling the uncooked silks off of more than two ears of corn that you aren’t “putting up” for freezing when they totally don’t have to. #triggered
You're nuts! When you grill the amount of corn we do. Then you can tell me were wrong. Our corn grill takes 400lbs of charcoal just to get it started. 😋

I take off the outside husks,
pull back the other husks,
remove most of the silk,
then dip in a cold milk and sugar bath
before grilling. 👍

Try STEAMING for only FOUR MINUTES. Sounds crazy but it’s the best. Straight from the farmers mouth!
I can agree. My mom put me in to steaming it
The fly in the video😂
Wow, thank you 😊
Smoked or grilled in the husk is the best way. Add your condiments after. Perfectly juicy everytime

GREAT NOW I WANT CORN 🙃
All colors of corn tastes great, when cooked right.

It doesn’t take 10 mins to explain how to roast corn on a grill. This is an infomercial.
The longest corn segment I ever saw. 😳
Sumac. But in a tinfoil parcel.
😂 😂 😂 I guess these methods are for people with no fresh corn

OK, rubber gloves. I will try that when I am “putting up” corn. But I stand behind just roast it.
TMI! 🥴
nope not cooking it wrong, just better than you.
What BS !
