    Just joined you as a subscriber. Although I am now too old to ride, I enjoy your commentary and your honest critique of the bikes. As interesting to me is your drive through the towns and countryside. These are sights famiiar to us from our visits to friends now past. Thank you.

    Great scooters but don’t expect too ride one on fast or rough roads especially if the winds over 8mph. Honestly if your over 180lbs and wanna go places on it I’d get a 170cc so it’s not super slow loaded, in bad weather with a worn belt!!
    165lbs on a 2007 Buddy125 with over 10k it humms too 45 on the flat in good weather and pulls up to 53-63mph depending on the incline and wind (no windshield btw) right now my belts worn going uphill with a head wind I could be stuck going 45 in a 50

      They’ve discontinued the SMax, so you’ll likely have to source that from pre owned dealers
      The Xmax should be able to be found at Yamaha dealers yet

    Question.. whenever my halogen light burns out my buddy 50 can I replace it with a LED headlight? Will that make a difference with the electrical system?

    What do you use for your camera and mic? Really solid sound and video quality!
    Nevermind you answered in the video 🤪

    Quick question for you, does Yamaha change the color of the smax 150 every year? And do they only put the scooter out in one color per year?

    Question. How long can drive a buddy 50 or RF 50 without them overheating after they're broken in?

    • @SiegfriedsMotorwerx
      @SiegfriedsMotorwerx  4 роки тому

      There really isn’t any foreseeable limit to it honestly

    • @Marsail0

      How often do they overheat? I know it's air-cooled. I know the old air-cooled Zumas didn't like running longer than 40-50 minutes at a time.

    • @SiegfriedsMotorwerx
      @SiegfriedsMotorwerx  4 роки тому

      Really depends on the use, 45 minutes of stop and go will be different then 45 minutes of wot
      Cvt heat would be my biggest concern

      Only time I ever had a problem with overheating was the day I picked up my buddy 50 ..had read the breakin instructions.. I would have known.. it was really hot that day upper 90 in Connecticut and I pushed it too hard.. the Buddy 50 shut down.. after 10 minutes it was cool enough and I had no further problems....HINT.. do yourself a favor and install a scooterworks non-catalytic exhaust! .. you will not only gain 5 to 8 mph faster.. your buddy 50 will run much much cooler I have never had a problem with overheating since! ...

      PS.. I installed the scooter works non-catalytic converter on my buddy 50 and never did any rejetting of the carburetor..Runs great . In and engine much cooler.. still gained 5 to 8 mph over stock exhaust

    Are you guys going to be getting the Urbano 50i 2021 from genuine

    • @SiegfriedsMotorwerx
      @SiegfriedsMotorwerx  4 роки тому +1

      We are able to get them but we don’t plan on stocking them, so they will be special order only.
      2 stroke 50’s are just so much better then 4 stroke scooters
