    Early in 2004, an opportunity presented itself that would forever change the direction of my life and the culture of an entire community. I would sit at a bus stop day after day trying to catch an RTS bus to campus and this bus would pass me by with the words FULL BUS displayed across the top. This opportunity merged with a drop shipping and importing opportunity with one of my best college friends and ultimately led to the creation of New Scooters 4 Less in March of 2004. 14 years later, New Scooters 4 Less (NS4L) is one of the largest scooter dealerships in the United States and continues to break its own records and the sales records for some of the top scooter distributors in the country. NS4L has provided jobs to tons of amazing people, reached millions of dollars in revenue, sold thousands of scooters, and has serviced thousands more.
    NS4L has become well known within the business community for it’s unique, eccentric, and innovative culture developed around a single core value: Create and recreate the Ultimate Customer Experience, or UCE.
    Since the birth of NS4L, the University of Florida and the Gainesville Community have forever been changed.
    Our vision is to be the most trusted, go-to scooter dealership in existence and to revolutionize the entire scooter industry through our core values, innovation, and by creating that ultimate customer experience. We want to make Gainesville, FL the scooter capital of the world!
    Over the years, New Scooters 4 Less has been recognized with several community awards including Purpose 20 Award (2015), Impact Award (Collin, 2015), Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year (2015), and many national awards including Gator 100 (2015), Top 3 Dealer for Bintelli Scooters (2014, 2015), Number 1 Southern Dealership for Bintelli Scooters (2016), Top 5 Dealer for Wolf Brand Scooters (2017), Top Ten Dealer for Genuine Scooter Company (2015, 2016), and Number One Dealer in the Country for Genuine Scooter Company (2017, 2018).

    I bought a brand new roughhouse sport January of 2019 it’s been great except when it sits a while the gas in the float bowl evaporates and with a vacuum control petcock it cannot start you need to go to a manual petcock it’s a m14x1.0 thread on the bottom of the gas tank problem solved but a little hard to reach you can add a stop valve in an easier place tho. Been reading a sh_t load of reviews they won’t start this is the fix and it’s an easy one otherwise they’re great I love it, so dependable now

      @@NewScooters4Less let a roughhouse sit for a month it will not start, it might if you torture the starter, the carb bowls dry out and won’t fire and is unable to get gas to the bowl until it pulls a vacuum and can’t pull a vacuum cause it won’t start, vicious circle, remedy: manual petcock

      @@NewScooters4Less that’s funny because I know of 5 of these and everyone of them does it and a ton of reviews on the internet all have the same problem, good news is it’s an easy fix, I’m sure the vacuum control petcocks are a mandated law for imported vehicles so it’s not the manufactures fault

      @@johnpower8356 Gotcha, so it happens when it sits for a month. From my experience... ALL carbureted scooters are going to have an issue if you let them sit for a while. Glad you found a solution. Safe scooting!

    The black one locks like a PGO HOT 50

    • @NewScooters4Less
      @NewScooters4Less  4 роки тому

      Very similar. PGO is the manufacturer of Genuine Scooter Company, so it is the same motor. The front of this unit is a little different, but there are a lot of similarities!

    If you want to pay over $100 for a gas cap this is the perfect bike, the Roughhouse is a fast bike, but expensive to get anything fixed, if you lose your gas cap like lots of people they don't make a simple replacement, you have to replace everything with a key, and if you can put these pieces back together yourself 1 gas cap will cost you over 100$ that is ridiculous they haven't made something a simple gas cap in years of being a bike company.

    • @NewScooters4Less
      @NewScooters4Less  Місяць тому

      Hey! Not sure where you are shopping, but you can find aftermarket gas caps with keys, but most people probably want the key for the gas cap to match the ignition and seat lock, so you'd want a whole set. The only way a single gas cap could cost over $100 is if you lost your key to your original gas cap and the technician has to spend their time drilling out the old one in order to get it off your scooter. Maybe that's what you are talking about? Also... most people would probably just get a locksmith to make a new key for it. I think there are more options than you think if you lose the key to your gas cap.
      The Roughhouse is one of my favorite scooters hands down.

    • @Civilwar.relics
      @Civilwar.relics Місяць тому

      @@NewScooters4Less it's the place I bought it from charging to replace everything, over just the lost cap, and if you can't do it yourself you'll be stuck in this situation. Roughhouse has acknowledge that I'm completely right, that if you lose your gas cap the most common thing you shouldn't have to pay a mechanic if you lose it over 100$ to switch it. Even the company agrees with this and is going to mention it at there next meeting, getting rich of gas caps is BS

    • @NewScooters4Less
      @NewScooters4Less  Місяць тому

      @@Civilwar.relics Sounds like it's the time that is the actual expense. It's the labor time to drill out the fuel cap with the lost key in order to get a new one on there. That's the real expense. The fuel cap itself isn't the expensive part. Sorry you lost your key! Best wishes to you!

    • @Civilwar.relics
      @Civilwar.relics Місяць тому

      @@NewScooters4Less I have the key. The problem is that Roughhouse in all it's years hasn't made a simple replacement, that you could just use without a key. Or even sell a cap with a key to fit those bikes, doesn't that make a lot of sense? But the manufacturer has it set so this happens, I think it's dirty and so does the person at Roughhouse I spoke to. Work all day for a dang gas cap lol wtf
