Hamza. These recent videos are so much more appealing. Someone like yourself working on their own car just raises the bar on any channel. Keep pushing forward boy !
@@TRHamza Absolutely. I chatting about the recent videos with a friend of mine & we both said exactly the same about the new route you’ve taken with getting fully involved yourself. I’m sure the other viewers are enjoying it too 😁
Definitely noticing the improvement in overall quality, from audio to the light gadgets in the garage so we could see what you're doing. Much appreciated brother, keep at it.
I've become mad obsessed with these videos and just last night I was like thinking, damn could do with another upload from this guy. Always detailed and engaging video 👍
I screwed that blanking piece on and opened up the nearside of the intake. The R600 box is called that as it's good for 600bhp, supposedly. I can't see the need to buy one when you can make it yourself with that blank and a Stanley knife. Maybe the internals don't flow as good but for stage 1 or 2 it's more than good enough. £380 for a plastic box!
I like your videos explaing the things and trying to prevent if we want to do it, applaying tricks to do the instalations much better and easy. Nice job!!
7:18 You should of done it. That mod is a must-do mod for VAG cars of the MQB platform. I even did it on my 2.0 TDI. 😁 Anyway, great video. These DIY video's are also fun to watch.
I dont know why I looked at this video, I have done this myself and been a mechanich for 14 years so i know all this. But how your video is and all i was intruged to see it anyway. Great video, informativ and all that stuff. Keep up the work !
Just a heads up Hamza... i had a Ramair panel filter in my Cupra 280 and the amount of dust i had in the turbo intake pipe was insane... got annoyed after i cleaned the silicone pipe and still had a lot of dust a week later and bought a K&N filter (which already came sprayed) and it was MUCH better. I suggest you spray that Ramair with some air filter spray, or change to a cotton filter instead of the foam one.
Loving The DIY Vids, Keep Them Coming ! Eurocarparts Sell the Clamp By the way...You don't need to go Dealer Everytime ! Same as for the 335i, The Bleed Nipple Screw for the Expansion Tank, Eurocarparts Sell it also !
The DIY approach is great bro. Lots of solid info and advice! Awesome man the channel is going from strength to strength! Really enjoying this new format 👍👍
I recently started watching your channel again. Quality videos, also nice to see how some of the maintenance is really not that hard to do yourself! Man if I started watching earlier, I would've gotten a GTI instead of my 2 series haha (na I love my 230i).
Great video as always. Any chance of a review / list of some of your go to workshop tools like the electric wrench? I’d like to start servicing my own cars and want to make sure I’ve got all the bits I need to get started.
Hamza, love the videos. I can’t seem to find the air inlet scoop that you used in the video (that broke). A part number or link would be greatly appreciated
You seemed to have an easier time doing the downpipe compared to Dean on Saving Salvage, he had to drop the subframe in the end. Just fitted new cat bypass pipes to my PFL. The ones I bought 2 years ago had started to rust badly. Must have been some hooky stainless steel so went for genuine Audi ones for the FL RS3 this time. All 4 bolts twisted off trying to get the sleeve undone, they were barely recognisable as nuts.
I just realized that I've never changed the oil in my car because I got a 10-free oil change deal with my car... but man, what a wacky set-up this engine has. lol that is sooo different to the dozen or so cars I've done oil changes on.
Nothing gives a mechanic more anxiety than the fear of dropping his favorite tool into the engine and he doesn't hear the clank of it hitting the ground.
...Don't let this distract you from the fact that ...Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines! On top of that, ...he just came into Harry's and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust!!👀
Although I prefer BMW content, I can live with everything that’s German 😂. I love the videos, very accurate and interesting. Also, a great and calm attitude, which is preferable to so many UA-camrs and their hectic videos. Maybe I am just getting old 😂.
Hi Hamza I saw in one of your old videos you have issue on K04 Mk5 gti you had the fault code P1093 did you manage to sort it out and did the issue come back ?.keep up the good work your videos are very helpful.
about 57 days ago I asked you on Instagram when are you going to make a m140 video. COMEEE ON HAMZA I love that car and your build on it. Anyway keep up the content.
Asalamo alekum bro MASHA ALLAH nice video I am having a problem with my golf 5gti dsg multitrinic paddle shift running stage 2 with 76mm down pipe resonator deleted car drove awesome a whole year but 2months ago my car started to misfire after a rough driving on manual and sports mode on a high way but as soon I get to busy traffic roads and driving on d mode the car starts to mk a push when shifting and misfire at times changed spark plugs misfire was gone but other issue of driving on D mode after rough driving the push and power should still decrease went to diagnose only evap related codes were captured incorrect air purge flow replaced N80 valve and evap canister code didn't return but problem remained the same removed manifold cleaned intake valves no positive response started with fuel related replacing intake fuel pump high pressure fuel sensor new cam follower even though old1 was not worn swoped high pressure fuel pump and still no results then I was told to disconnect o2 bank1 sensor and test drive as bank2 sensor is off by map tuning by disconnecting the o2 sensor car drive like a dream problem fully sorted but after replacing the o2 sensor the car is again doing the same 😢😢😢😢 even replaced pcv valve I am so frustrated Kasam I don't know what to do anymore saw ur video and now thinking maybe it's my coils bcs the mechanic only could find misfire by one coil and replaced 1 and other coils r weak too after getting to maximum heat after rough driving and if I let it cool for a while then it's OK to drive on D mode sm1 said u must switch the o2 sensor off by the tuner and drive like that but my concern the whole year car was driving fine with only 2nd sensor switched off
If anyone reads this and is gonna put in a downpipe, the process is different with the GTI that has the lsd and the GTI that doesnt. The lsd makes putting a downpipe the pain in an ass. I would recommened taking off the top bolts from above the car.
New video layout is class! Just wondering how loud/drony it is now with a downpipe. I've got a mk6 gti and want a bit more noise but don't want to ruin it lol.
DIY Stage 2 upgrade is a super cool this to do to your GTI. But can anyone tell me how does it affect your Insurance ? And is it very important to even notify your insurance company?
Sorry for the delay in uploads! I’m trying to make them a lot more practical/detailed, so it does take a bit longer at times!
Any chance u could add links to all parts uv bought an put on the car I’ve got a mk7 to but it’s totally stock an want to do some bits to it..
How are you Hamza.. where are you based..??
Keep content going !!
Hamza.
These recent videos are so much more appealing. Someone like yourself working on their own car just raises the bar on any channel. Keep pushing forward boy !
Glad you’re enjoying the new direction man, I’m finding it a lot more rewarding to film also 👌🏼
@@TRHamza 100%, much rather see a dude work on his own cars

Yup, so many UA-camrs taking their cars to the shop and just shooting B-roll. Nothing wrong with it, just gets a bit stale.
bro i thought u said they are so much more appalling i was like na bro ahahahhaa
Liking the DIY hands on filming! Audio quality is great with the clip on MIC 👌🏻
Glad you like it! 👌🏼
^ This 👌
Definitely noticing the improvement in overall quality, from audio to the light gadgets in the garage so we could see what you're doing.
Much appreciated brother, keep at it.
There's just something about your videos they relax me watching them
I've become mad obsessed with these videos and just last night I was like thinking, damn could do with another upload from this guy. Always detailed and engaging video 👍
Nothing better than hamza's budget diy content to cheer up the day 👌

Thank you 👊🏼

Loving these MK7 videos. Even more with the DIY bits - great work!
Thank you! Glad to have you guys tuning in - would be good to do something together 🙂

Going stage 2 on my mk7 after being stock for 7 years.. Miltek DP, intake, Leyo Boost Tap and DV, res delete, stage 2 tune, Quite excited!
Another down to earth video. Top marks. 😎
Lovley stuff hamza never disappoints
Simple clean cut videos. Always 10/10 content.

Anyway, great video. These DIY video's are also fun to watch.
Enjoying the vids on the golf gti. Had one for a couple years myself with an nvm stage 1 remap and loved it. Miss it a lot
I dont know why I looked at this video, I have done this myself and been a mechanich for 14 years so i know all this.
But how your video is and all i was intruged to see it anyway. Great video, informativ and all that stuff.

Loving the videos hamza keep it up bro! We’re here to support you all the way.
Might help if you give a retail price break down of the parts you used
Noted 👍🏼
💯. Also be good to know how much money you're saving

Haven't been on UA-cam for a while but loving that you're still making great content my brother from brum!
One of the best DIY mods I did was the Forge high air intake hose!
Man is making it look easy! Makes we want to do all this. Great content.

Great video mate. Thoroughly enjoyed watching that! Keep up the good work!

You know your stuff! Another very good video.
Saw u in henly in arden today in this beast looks lovely.. big respect
This thing will genuinely be able to gap some cars at stage 2 🔥🔥🔥
Hamza, love the videos. I can’t seem to find the air inlet scoop that you used in the video (that broke). A part number or link would be greatly appreciated
Great vlog m8, u got all the tools to make it easy, nice 1 👍
You supposed to oil the o ring before slipping it over the top, the point of the oil is to increase elasticity so it doesnt snap
Absolutely naughty, can’t wait to see what you’ve done bro. 👍🔥
Love the content and the way it is presented
Everything is shown good and is quite practical which helps us
Keep it up 👍
The car sounds 👌
Loving the videos on this car keep them coming mate 👊
Nice content as always TRH. Tell you what.. That exhaust is sounding way better now that the car can finally breathe a little 👍🔥
Didn’t take long for the ol’trusty electric ratchet to come out! 😂🤣👍🏽

Keep the videos coming. What electric 1/2" ratchet are you using. Got a link to it?
Are you going to get the MK7.5 headlights? They look so much better
Cannot wait to see part two of this one now ☺️👍🏻
Loving these DIY videos bro. MahshAllah good work 👍
The "flutter" sounds more like a hiss but it's pretty distinct. Did you replace your diverter valve with a blow off kit?
Nothing gives a mechanic more anxiety than the fear of dropping his favorite tool into the engine and he doesn't hear the clank of it hitting the ground.
Love your work bro only gripe is you tend to skip over some of the steps and the steps you tend to skip over are quite complicated steps
Awesome video as per the norm.
Sounds good brother.
...Don't let this distract you from the fact that ...Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines!

Did you notice any downside to having the downpipe fitted without a remap?
Love the d. I. Y makes your channel diff from the rest. 👍
Always check plug gaps 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve been looking at getting a newer golf, I can’t decide between manual and auto tbh.
Remove the heat shield on the bonnet for more noise
Loving the DIY bro, but definitely try to mix it up 👍
Killin it bro
