MRC are a bit drastic in their Stage 2 maps... im not sure its safe for the turbo or engine that one but.. fingers crossed. Good numbers no doubt!

For anyone looking to do this u get a vw special tool which makes it easier getting into the caliper carrier bolts. Just a stuby spline socket

You have to clean off the packing grease with brake wash with new discs.
Same figures as my 7.5 R now. Have to install my dp for next step
Please put the facelift lights on the gti it makes it look so much better especially the matrix back lights

I didn't realise you were this handy with cars. I've recently got a 280 CUPRA and I've had nothing but trouble with it. Steering knock, new LED's because they were letting in moisture (to my suprise, it had been in a bump). Just fitted a water pump too and it's still overheating :( Don't know what to do with it

why (how) are the rear wheels spinning on the dyno in a FWD GTi?
Hamza, I have a 7.5 GTI manual stage 1 (300bhp 440nm tq) with a sachs organic clutch in it. I didn’t “bed in” the clutch like I was supposed to.. it’s driving well and not slipping but I’m worried I’ve lowered my torque figures by doing this. Do you think this matters or am I just worrying for no reason? I’ve not been completely ragging it but did a few 6k pulls in 2nd 3rd etc

I’ve got a question: why not fit a “wellycooler” meaning a fmic IN FRONT of the ac condenser instead of oe sandwich ic??? Wouldn’t that provide better airflow/cooling?

I have a 1.6 tdi 2013 MK7. I want to make it sound better and louder. Will an EGR, DPF Delete and straightpipe work?? Some people say theres no point.

@@fbagoldenboy as it’s a diesel it will just make it sound even more like a tractor. Like the other guy said, better to save your money and buy a gti/r which will naturally sound better. This is coming from someone who went from a mk7 2.0 tdi to a mk7 GTi.

Now then lad, I’ve just noticed you’ve either put the front or rear discs the wrong way around due to the fact they’re vented thus being directional… if I’m not mistaken?
You’re correct if referring to the front discs if it was another disc style, but the GTI Clubsport S discs aren’t L/R handed, so unfortunately one side is always going to be the ‘wrong’ way. Both are identical when ordering the set.
