    Nice video. I am not wildcarding yet. If I was I would have something pretty similar, so I am a little envious. Are you worried about having to start Diallo and Rogers every week? Jota down to Eze would help upgrade to a Smith Rowe or Minteh. Or less in the bank and do Salah to Saka in GW6. Great content. Good luck.

       @RichardDD999 Thanks mate! I didn’t go into the future transfer plans for the wildcard team given how much I needed to go through, but no, I’m not worried about having to play Semenyo & Rogers every week. My plan is to move Saka, Mbeumo, Semenyo & Rogers around over the coming weeks, with Semenyo likely only staying for the next 3 gameweeks. At that point I’ll make my mind up about what’s happening with Rashford & his potential impact on Diallo, and jump on Amad as the fixtures turn if I’m happy with his probable minutes. My Jota spot is only for this one week, he’ll become Saka in GW6.

    Love the anaylsis, interesting that you didn't go with any Nottingham Forest defenders. McNeil and DCL could also been interesting picks, good run of fixtures until GW14 and both under 4% ownership. Would love to get your thoughts on these potential options.

      Forest defenders were close to making the wildcard, Murillo was even in one of my early preseason wildcards too. I may dip into them at some point but I haven’t watched them enough yet, whereas I know what I’m getting with Porro, Konate & Gabriel. Unfortunately, I haven’t watched much of Everton play yet either so sorry mate, I don’t have a lot to go on for McNeil. DCL is OK as an asset, a little bit streaky, but I haven’t watched him play much having not owned him for at least 3 or 4 seasons now.

      @@GKneeIssYT Thats fair enough. I have played the WC this week, quite similar team but gone slightly different on a few players. Raya, Gabriel, Porro, Aina, Diaz (becomes Saka), Mbeumo, Semenyo, Salah, McNeil, Haaland, Vardy.
      Bench Options - 4m GK, Greaves, Milenkovic, Chiwome

    Great team Steven!
    My original plan was to wildcard in GW4 however I wildcarded in GW3 to beat the price rises on Joao Pedro Palmer Salah and Mbuemo. My team is very similar to yours except I have Watkins in my team for Wolves and Ipswich with Saka Salah and Palmer in my team already and the plan for me is to downgrade Salah to Semenyo in GW7 then chuck him on the bench and with that money I can go from Ollie Watkins back up to Erling Haaland as not a big fan of Liverpool's fixtures after GW6. Instead of Salah I've gone for double City coverage with Phil Foden and invested the extra 3 mil to move Rogers up to a Jarrod Bowen for West Ham's run where from GW7 onwards they face Ipswich Spurs Man United Forest and Everton so expecting Bowen to do really really well there. Also dropped a mil from Porro to a 4.5 defender as for me you never know when Spurs are gonna keep a clean sheet and if Porro doesn't keep the clean sheet and gets no attacking return at all then I won't be very happy plus no bonus. I invested the extra million into Jamie Vardy from Leicester, happy he's scored twice already this season he still looks on it even at age 37 as Leicester have a great run of fixtures coming up after the Arsenal game in GW6 so expect him to do really well there however only going to hold onto him very briefly until GW10 where I'm planning to downgrade my Saka to Garnacho for Man United's good run and to use that money to upgrade Vardy to Cunha from Wolves and also upgrade Greaves to a Leif Davis with more attacking threat, rest of my team is very similar to yours however.

      Thanks! Sounds like you’ve got quite the differential team there mate. Watkins was huge this week, very nice catch, especially since he kept pace with Haaland. 💪 I love the Vardy pick too!! 😍 Very nice differential! 🎲 A few interesting future transfers too, like Bowen, who isn't on many radars. I have to ask about Foden though, when do you think he’ll start his first game?

    • @alexandermcbrien264
      @alexandermcbrien264 День тому

      @GKneeIssYT Cheers, I got Watkins in on a GW3 Wildcard so I missed the Haaland hat trick against West Ham however I thought to my self being locked out of the team I want in the future that will score more points that 1 Erling Haaland hat trick is more important to me. Yes I went with Watkins as the fixtures seemed really really nice for Villa and I know when Watkins is on it he can do really really well and it allows me to avoid having Haaland for Arsenal and Newcastle where I expect him to blank against Arsenal and only score 1 against Newcastle whereas it allows me to have Watkins against Ipswich in GW6 alongside Saka and Salah in midfield when they both take on Leicester and Wolves where most people who have Haaland in their team will only have the choice of keeping 1 or the other. Funny thing about keeping Saka when most got rid of him is that I knew Forest defensively were solid and that Saka was on corners and that Spurs struggle with set pieces and if you just take a look at Saka's record against Spurs over the years he's rarely ever blanked against them so I knew keeping him would be a huge advantage over others selling him this week. Vardy was such good luck for me usually the fpl gods are against me but not this time, last week I brought in Watkins and Wissa on wildcard to which Watkins got me an assist and Wissa got me a goal and then I checked the fixtures for Leicester plus knowing Palaces form defensively already this season since losing a key component in Joachim Andersen I knew they were going to be very fragile at the back, plus Vardy is a poacher in front of goal and is premier league proven so along with the fixture run it was a no brainer and I can just bench him for Saka against Arsenal in GW6 so it's no problem for me there, plus having the crazy luck of moving Wissa out at the right time before hsi injury against Man City was so lucky for me. Bowen is a really great shout as nobody is on him and I don't think they plan to be on him anytime soon however he is such a great character and is always very consistent in his returns I honestly believe he's a little underpriced and should be around the 8.5 price bracket alongside Bruno Fernandes and Odegaard as he did manage to score more points than both last season too. Him and Foden are my differentials for not going with double Arsenal defence like most from GW6 onwards. My plan is to have both of them in the team by downgrading my Palmer to Bowen and my TAA down to a 4.5 and move Eze up to Foden in GW7 and then get 3 4.5 attacking defenders in Ait Nouri Leif Davis and Rico Henry from Brentford once he returns from injury at the next international break so that's how I plan to beat most going double Arsenal defence as my thinking will be with their attacking potential and good fixtures there's chance for some 15 pointers for all of them if they accumulate a clean sheet plus an attacking return alongside bonus plus having Foden and Bowen together who are great with fantastic fixtures to go besides them aswell. As for Foden I have this slight feeling that he's going to start either the Arsenal game or the Newcastle game but I'm leaning more towards him starting the Arsenal game as I feel as if it's a huge game and Pep will need someone of his experience and quality in order to break down Arsenal's defensive coverage. I'm hoping to gain the double City attack coverage on most people as everyone will have Haaland throughout that fixture run as perma captain up until GW13 so Foden will give me the extra edge I need to gain rank over others in my mini league and my thinking is if he bangs a brace or a hat trick in a couple of those games plus my 3 4.5 mil attacking defenders that can offer me clean sheets and bonus I can beat the 6 pointer only Arsenal defense as Gabriel might be likely to only get on the end of 1 header maybe from their GW6 GW7 GW8 run.

      @@alexandermcbrien264 Looks like you’ve got some interesting ideas in here, and some of your instincts look like they’ve come good. It’s a little bit hard to follow when reading though, if you could group up your ideas and keep it a bit more concise that’d help me out. 🙂 Looks like you think Foden will start this weekend against Arsenal, which could very well happen, but I think Pep will probably favour players that are already settled into the season to start such a big game. Foden’s touch will be rusty and he won’t have much match fitness, so I think it would be a bit of a gamble for Pep to give him a start but there's every chance he comes in off the bench.

    Hey Steve, have a question and a suggestion for you. For my team, would you start Rogers or Mbeumo in GW5?
    For your WC, have you considered Mc Neil instead of semenyo? Insane fixtures and he has been creating many chances. Have a nice day!

    I'm either taking a 4 pt hit to get Halaand in before another price rise or hitting the WC like yourself. I've already taken the -4 to swap Isak and Palmer for Halaand and..........Rashford! Rashford is a streaky player - could now be the time? If I knew Garnacho was starting, I would've gone for him. But can obv still nullify the hit by playing the WC
    Your WC looks much like mine, tho I have little faith that Konate can play every game. My head is also being turned by players like Mateta, Solanke and (draws breath) DCL.

    • @GKneeIssYT
      @GKneeIssYT  День тому

      Yeah the price changes are definitely forcing a few hands, keep a close eye on Haaland's price, he's getting quite a bit of investment still.
      I raised some concerns about Rashford in the section where I discussed Amad Diallo, but in short, I think our two best in form wingers at United have been Garnacho & Diallo. I’m actually hoping that Ten Hag benches Rashford and uses him as an impact sub for a couple of weeks until he finds some more consistent form. But you're right, he's a very streaky player, I put it down to him allowing himself to get too frustrated, which he shows on the pitch when things aren't working out for him. Considering he’s just scored though, I think he probably gets another start this week, but I think his days are numbered, especially if the performances drop off.
      On Konate, CB’s do the least running on a football field, well apart from the goalkeeper of course. So they are the most likely players to have the legs to play the most minutes, with lots of managers not wanting to muck around with their CB partnerships also playing a big factor.
      Haha, the fact that you need to draw breath tells me a little about how you're seeing the DCL pick. 🎲🙈 DCL is also a bit of a streaky player and could be starting a run, and I haven’t watched much of Everton this season so I’m running a bit blind on him. I rate the Mateta & Solanke picks!

      @@liamdsouza886 Yes, Enciso & Rutter are in the mix. Brighton FC is a club where players can play at different positions. Joao Pedro is nailed for more minutes (agree) and on his day can score a brace easily.

    • @alexandermcbrien264
      @alexandermcbrien264 День тому +1

      I would argue differently, we've already seen how great Joao Pedro has been and how influential he's been for Brighton this season and its no coincidence that without him in the Ipswich game Brighton didn't score a game changing goal to turn the game in their favour. We've also heard Fabian Huerzeler say before that he's not a huge fan of rotation like De Zerbi is, yes the question was only asked about rotating goalkeepers however I believe it applies to other members in his squad aswell. If anything Joao Pedro is super nailed over the likes of Danny Welbeck just based on his age alone and also based on the fact that Joao Pedro is the main penalty taker in the team which that in and of itself probably makes him super nailed in the side. Can see JP starting most games with Rutter and Enciso coming on from the bench with 20-30 mins left to play in the game to bring on fresh legs and have a different approach to the game.

      @gvsubramanyam2299 I tend to agree with @liamdsouza886 & @alexandermcbrien264, I think Ferguson will be more of a threat to Welbeck’s minutes. I’m expecting to see them rotate with one another a little bit as both are a little bit injury prone and need their minutes managed.
