Hi Steve, great video as always. My team is fairly similar to yours except no Salah as I fancied punting on Solanke and having a slightly stronger bench. Anyways - i have Quansah... If you have watched Chelsea game i thought they looked very good - could fofana/colwill be a good replacement? Very cheap way into a potential top 6 defence.

I wasn’t a fan of Chelsea’s defence throughout preseason though, so they would’ve had to have had an outstanding performance to make me change my mind on them so early. It's also really hard to tell what Maresca is aiming for, especially given the team on paper that he rolled out against City. So there's a bit of risk around how long the team will take to settle too. If you combine this with the fact that Fofana & Colwill also come with little attacking threat, I'll probably be inclined to look elsewhere. But we'll see what the football says.

Good start to the season Steve and the best captaincy option in place ahead of gw2. Unlucky with Quansah. I swerved both him and Barco for risk aversion, tho did go with Jacob Murphy and lost out on a potential haul given his pre-season form. Rocking Salah only team with Saka and Palmer. Went for the Raya + Munoz combo at the back. Chris Wood also came thru. Porro and Solanke to play. Not planning any moves tho Palmer + Murphy to Bruno + Eze might happen if current form persists. Both were absolutely immense!! It's only been 1 gw so hard to suggest Quansah replacement. Fulham have the fixtures but are they defensively sound? I'm playing Robinson and benching Mykolenko.....like......forever.

@GKneeIssYT Everton were desperate. I heard some Brighton fans laughing about the prospect of Young v Mitoma and we saw what happened there! Everton were just so open and clearly missing Brantwaite. I've made a mistake there and getting Mykolenko up to Gvardiol feels like a priority. 1m in bank so need another 0.5. Losing Murphy was painful. Once I heard about the red card, I knew he would be the one to be sacrificed. Southampton were doing very well up to that point tho. I would have no issues playing Harwood Bellis if I had to based on what I saw in that game. See you went for Lewis Hall. He was in my draft - the links with Guehi put me off as Burn would end up as first choice left back if Guehi signed. I'm sure Schar's absence will cement Hall's place for a while.
@@OceanLoader I didn’t get to see any Everton preseason, it sounds like I need to take a look at them again because in my head they are a decent enough defence, but that perception is based on last season’s matches. Haha, GW2 and I’m already looking at using Harwood-Bellis off the bench. 😂 Geez. I have Quansah and I have Konsa on my bench, I've largely decided to keep Quansah and hope he'll get his spot as I have someone to cover him for now. Only worry is the price changes but still evaluating the risks there lol

Week 1 no haaland couldn’t have gone better for me. 89 points with solanke to play. For me haaland is to expensive he forces you into having a weak defence, Trent and Arsenal defence are just so much better than the 4.5s. Only week 1 though but even a hatrick for haaland next week won’t worry me.

Unfortunately that’s a part of the risk we take when rolling the dice on a new player earning a spot in the team. 🎲 Rico Lewis was on my shortlist of replacements but he didn’t make the cut as he’s probably the riskiest player in the 4.5m bracket given the fierce competition at City, and I’m hoping to fill this slot for a long hold of about 8-10 weeks. However, if you're looking at Rico Lewis as a short term pick, he could be worth a punt if you think he's going to get the minutes, because if he does get the minutes I think he’s got the biggest upside.
