Fpl is truly back! It’s a savage game for Bruno, Quansah, Barco, Eze and Nkunku owners. Sold Nkunku for MGW with a heavy heart (I own Rogers). There are no good 6,5 options being the reason me and most legendary managers started with a xmin risk Nkunku. 3xC Haaland has been the only highlight so far..Cheers for the great content, your player analysis gives me the info when I don’t have the time to watch games.
@@GKneeIssYT By the way the Barco price should be locked because you can’t buy him, therefore he can’t drop either. This has been so for all season long loans since 2019. Ofc it’s not 100% certain because no one knows outside the fpl towers how it really works..
@@sokhanh1 Thanks for the heads up. I’ve heard mixed reports on this, super tough to know when they tell us nothing huh. it wouldn’t at all surprise me if they have some sort of natural decay on price over time though. 🤷♂
Hey mate, thanks for the feedback! I’d love to have you on board, the support really helps build & create the content. And I’ve got some new ideas which I’ll be bringing out in future that you’ll get first access to as a member too.
i got 94 with very similar players as you. Some weeks when the scores go wild you can be lucky or unlucky. I'm trying to exercise patience but I expect to be making genius multi phase moves requiring multiple hits, shortly. Best wishes Brad
Geez, huge score this week, very nice! 💪 Sounds like you TC’d Haaland? I’m considering hits or even the WC this week, check out my latest release for what I’m weighing up.
As soon as I saw Lloyd Kelly in the Newcastle XI, I felt that it was a charity start for Kelly to appear against his former team. I expect Hall to be back in the starting lineup next week. I'm praying for an Eze haul vs. Chelsea, us owners deserve it after these last two weeks of pain. I'm worried about Isak but I'm giving him another week as Tottenham is his fixture. If he can't return in this fixture I start to more than worry about his place in my team.
It’s either that, or Kelly is already first choice in front of Hall. Either way I'm giving him this weekend, if he's benched he'll be gone the following week. 🙈 I’m also praying Eze sinks a few, I need him to haul in order to preserve his value. 🤞 Isak is way down my priority list of players to transfer out right now, but if he blanks in the next two I’ll be starting to think about moving him on.
I have Eze. I tune into the Palace games and when I’m watching them I can’t believe my luck (or lack of). Are you planning on transferring him out seen as though he hasn’t returned in 2 relatively easy fixtures and has some difficult ones coming up? Also what are your plans with the Palace defence double-down? I think they’re weaker than last season and even more so with Andersen going to Fulham. Great video as always.
Thanks mate, check out my latest release as I address the Palace double up and Eze too. But yes, I’m in agreement, I don’t think they’re as strong as they were last season.
I did end up trusting my gut luckily and triple captained Haaland! One of my better weeks. 100 points and Into rank 105k. I also brought in Robinson for Quansah. I guess things just went my way this week. Doesn't always work out like that in FPL. I'm a bit worried about Eze and he's dropping in price. But he looks to be a hold with fixtures and lack of 7m alternatives? I'm sure you will cover this
Haha, you leaving me in suspense at the end there mate? 😂 Nice catch on Haaland! 💪 Oof, and way up the ranks too! I briefly mentioned Eze in today’s video, I’m giving him a couple of weeks unless I wildcard.
Mixed week, finished with 75 but had Hall benched, Esr benched for Wood's 1 pointer and no premium defenders (which I got wrong). I'm probably doing Hall to Davis from Ipswich, know Ipswich aren't great defensively (even in the championship last season) but he is super attacking (18 assists in the championship last season) and has good fixtures.
ESR on the bench is a bit rough mate. 🙈 I’m currently looking at my defence thinking I need to invest more. 😅 An Ipswich defender feels like a bit of a roll of the dice, he’d have to get a few assists as I imagine they’ll concede a few goals. 🎲
I suspect the Fernandes/McTominay sub was just giving McTominay a final game in a Utd shirt. McTominay is being linked with a move away as they presumably look to cash in on his academy status. Love the rest of the insight as usual Steve!
Well Steve. Lots to digest there and Bittersweet is an appropriate description. 88 pts with my Salah team, tho gutted to hear the Solanke news on Friday as Everton were there for the taking and who knows what he might've done. I ended up selling him for Jaoa Pedro to avoid a price drop that never actually happened - I've also sold Jacob Murphy to Rogers for the same reason, but I've ended up taking a price drop on Mykolenko anyway (who I've just been unable to get rid of due to these other issues). Its very frustrating as I swerved Barco, Nkunku & Quansah and I've still taken a team value hit! Unlucky with Hall - hopefully he gets the nod over Kelly, but I don't like the competition for LB. I don't like Newcastle at all right now tbh. I benched Murphy and played Isak reluctantly. Not triple captaining Halaand feels like a mistake - it was an easy decision that was right there in front of us ! Looking forward. Villa have great fixtures. As do Chelsea with Palmer looking superb (I have him) Wolves are prob another team to target. Final thought. Is it worth skimping on keepers? I've no Arsenal def but do have Raya and he is smashing it!
Oof, yes, I can imagine watching Spurs smash Everton with Solanke pulling out late would've been quite rough mate. 🙈He almost certainly would’ve gotten amongst the returns. I’ve got a couple of value worries of my own which is driving me to consider making some aggressive plays this week. Hall was pretty rough, but that is the way that I play. The Tottenham fixture will definitely let us know who’s first choice, so I guess I’ll find out this weekend. In case he is benched, I’m looking to sell Salah this week to gain some funds in case I need to upgrade him as I don’t really love the 4.5m price point for the current fixtures. I don’t know if I’d call it a mistake, there will be lots of single gameweeks to deploy our TC chips in throughout the season if we choose to go in a single. A 17 pointer would’ve been very nice though! I discussed buying Palmer for Salah in my release that dropped today and I agree, Palmer is looking bang on form. 💯 And part of that move is to potentially take a hit to bring Raya in with some of the funds acquired through selling Salah... it seems we have some very similar thinking.
Reminder to check the price drops everyday, I Missed the quansah price drop and ended up bringing in mosquera instead of robinson for a lovely -2 instead of 6 points net loss of 8 points and i lost 0.1 mil, dont be like me guys
You say we should target Everton which I agree with. Your also say we should target Ipswich and Southampton. As newly promoted teams it’s a bit (too?) easy to mention these teams and I’m not so sure you’re right. Ipswich has played Man C and Liverpool, but 7 of their next 8 fixtures look quite ok, and 3 of them are actually quite good. Southampton has conceded 2 goals, 1 of which was away to Newcastle (though against 10 playes from min. 28). Is that really so bad? What about Wolves, Crystal Palace and Chelsea? None of them have impressed me much defensively, though of course Wolves and Chelsea have played Arsenal and Man C. I just would like to mention this to hear your and other’s opinion.
I noted Ipswich after watching both the Liverpool & City games. They were trying to play a man marking system which big clubs will eat alive. Hence, we should target them with our big players when we can as I see them conceding quite a few. I have only seen Southampton play Newcastle so far, but I think a full strength top 6 side will score lots of goals against them too. I agree that Palace, Chelsea and Wolves are shaky at the back though, it’s not just Everton, Ipswich and Southampton. But at this point I think the latter list will concede the most.
@@GKneeIssYT Only time will tell I guess. I think maybe both Ipswich and Southampton will approach their fixtures more defensively than Palace, Wovles and especially Chelsea, so I´m actually not so sure that IPS and SOU will have conceded the most goals come GW11. After that it´s another story though.
94 points this week. Glad I went for Raya so far, seems gks are getting more bonus than last year. And I'm not regretting going for Luis Diaz over Jota as much now either. Yeah Nkunku seems to be a troll, sold him for Rogers last night before price changes
There are more issues at United than just Martinez’s recent couple of performances and I didn’t blame him for everything that’s going on at United. But, given I’ve seen him make a handful of mistakes across the last couple of games, they do need to be pointed out.
@@GKneeIssYT True, I definitely think he hasn't performed the same post injury but hopefully once De light comes into the team and they form a partnership we'll play a lot better. Personally I find it crazy that we didn't prioritise a left back given how awful Shaw is with injuries yet here we are end of transfer window relying on a right back.. oh well that's united for you😆
Even before watching the vid i just had to let out how relieved i was to immediately transfer Nkunku!! Priced oit of preferrable move too. Should have just done kt after gw1. Thank goodness for porro and gordon
Thoughts on wood to wissa? I can easily cover bad Brentford fixtures and wissa can take me all the way to my wildcard in gw12, on risk is Toney. What do you think of the Toney situation too?
The team sheets suggest they are trying to sell Toney, but with the window fast approaching he may end up staying. I would wait until Saturday (NZT) to see if he stays or not before making the move.
He’s probably last on my list of priority transfers so I’ll likely be holding him until I wildcard. Nedeljkovic looks nailed until Cash is back, and Villa’s fixtures are great.
Haha, check out my latest release, I discuss bringing Palmer in this week! I’d probably hold Jota because of the fixtures and his positioning, but he could lose his spot so if you want security then hold Bruno.
@@GKneeIssYT Just saw it, funny enough i was also thinking hard about wilrdcarding all week, there are quite a few players i want. But ended up taking the -4 bruno -> palmer instead. Going to C him and pray he makes up for it lol, looks like a ~gw6 wildcard or a later one now, most likley a late one, and take some hits to get a similar team like ~gw6 wildcarders, we see.
I haven’t built up any match notes on either Rogers or ESR yet, but considering ESR is ex-Arsenal, he’s sure to be a solid pick if you like Fulham's attack.
Robinson was 2nd on my list of 4.5m assets last week, so I think he’s a decent enough pick in the bracket. I’m not sure how certain Trossard’s minutes are, but if he plays I think he’ll do well.
