- November 1st is international self-portrait day and this is my 10th anniversary of making a youtube video about it! Do a self-portrait today and enjoy the video. Also, play Hollow Knight.

It's great to see you're doing well, drawing every day I feel has really brought your line-quality to another level. I've really gotten demotivated when it comes to art since you-know-what in early 2020, for a moment there I wasn't even sure whether I wanted to click your video... and I usually watch anything you upload without second-guessing, it's always a good time.

After you mentioned the Hollow Knight influence i could absolutely see it. The background has such Greenpath / Queen’s Gardens atmosphere, and the way everything is so much bigger than the character is absolutely a Hollow Knight vibe.

What a cool self portrait. I think the sinking face in the background can be a metaphor for leaving behind those past several bad years and letting new 🌱
