Hasn't it been debunked countless times that failed mission DO NOT contribute to the enemy progress bar?
Yup, some UA-camrs still aren't in the loop I guess. Report them to the nearest Democracy Officer.
Correct, we only lose after 24 hours on a defense.
For normal capture planets missions, as far as I know, the progress bar ticks down at a certain rate, and our successful missions move it upward, failed missions do neither, which means abandoning missions or failing to complete the main objectives doesn't fight the tick down of the bar.
@@headazrd By that logic writing a comment on youtube also contribute to the enemy progress, since it doesn't counteract the enemy.
Failed missions does nothing. Just like not playing the game at all. They don't contribute to enemy regeneration/counteract our progress.
Failing a mission only meant wasted time you could have spent contributing to the success of an order, as you need to start a fresh new operation.
While I do agree on a lot of the points in this video, failing a mission does not increase the bot progress on defense. The enemy progress bar fills up over time, and failed missions do not increase it. The only thing that will happen is that our progress bar won’t go up, but it also won’t decrease. Misinformation is the bane of this community

I was playing last night with the sickle and the spear. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn’t kill bugs in bushes and I couldn’t lock onto targets. Thanks for sharing that information.

The bot timer ticks at a fixed rate (set by Joel). Failing a mission only meant wasted time you could have spent contributing to the success of an order, as you need to start a fresh new operation. With that said, pick an operation with missions you think you (and your squad) has the most chances of succeeding, and you think you would have most fun. Burnout after repeated failed missions is often the bane of major orders, as squads tend to take extended breaks, not contributing to the defend meter.

The new Eruptor works as a great alternative to the Anti-material rifle. Only thing is that it shoots slower, but i actually think the aoe is bigger and it has more ammo.
Any laser/energy based equipment can run into foliage atm. This is also including the arc-12 Blitzer.
You can also adjust your aim when scoped to compensate for the misaligned scope. I don't mean change range; I mean "Oh this pulls a little to the left." But that's just gun tips as a whole.
Defense missions are lost after 24 hours. I and the community would appreciate you not spreading teeasonous bullshit.

@@SmiteTheJinx exactly, all the planets have the same red bar for the same time window, having started at the same time. It is important to pick just one planet though, right now its split between 3.
Yeah, the bar ticks down steadily. That said, constant losses or abandoning missions is still not good, so in that light, I agree with going after missions you can complete.

Yes, that beast is taking me through automaton helldive. Never had any problem with the aiming.
It's being getting 0medalls from a week ago... They should rise the amount of medalls stack, at least 500. I'mgetting nothing for acomplishing thouse orders.

We need to focus the planets down, and specifically target the planets that will loose us access to other planets woth their loss. Supply lines exist, they're currently an invisible mechanic and as such aren't well represented.
😂 people are so inept they don't even know what focus means, you realize the biggest bottleneck in liberation is player numbers? It takes 40k~ to hold back planet Regen, and all the planets with 2-20k divers are all wasting super earth's time and resources.if all the bot players accumulated in one sector, 2 planets at most, we would have no issues holding bots back. 80k on a planet is more than enough to liberate it, but the issue is getting the scattered divers to realize their time is better spent on high count planets

Greetings Comrades. After I got the sickle some higher rank helldivers said it sucks change weapon. But I gave the sickle one last shot on a cold planet against aliens. With reduced heat build up I found it to be a great anti small guy tool. Any veterans with advice?
Scorcher is still the goat for bots. Been using the incendiary breaker for bugs.

@Madhamz hmm, gonna play a bit of devils advocate here. Once you click that button and join someone's lobby, you are no longer playing your game. You are playing a team game. Lobby owner is the team leader. I have someone join my squad bringing a useless booster I will ask them which boosters they have and tell them to bring a different, more useful one. If they come at me with an attitude like yours they will get kicked and blocked. I only get a few hours a day to play. I want to make the most of it. Go waste someone else's time.
@@gravdigr27 Great setting of tone for your message. In that case, I see your point and agree. In HD1, it is true I observed an etiquette where the lobby I joined shall be the squad leader and thus he dictate which obj and direction to head first. There is more freedom in HD2 in terms of this movement. In terms of weaponry, I believe there is no weapon so far that is completely ineffective, you get what i mean? Like not completely useless.
But I will concede that yea, it is no longer really YOUR GAME game in that sense.
@@gravdigr27 to be clear as a debate started. When I said vets told me change weapon. I did not feel a bad attitude they were helpfull and blunt. Personally if you are being helpful and I am on your team be blunt its fine. I low lv I am green give orders its cool. Also this respect the host bit you said is a good general rule.
sickle has that bug for a while since I first got it
The real issue stopping liberation progress is diver ineptitude. People go to planets with no other divers, no chance of being liberated, and waste super earths time n resources😢 they have no idea that it takes 40k minimum to even hold a planets progression at bay, and if you add all the planets with 5-10k people, youd have 50-100k people, enough to liberate a planet in a day. Its all diver ineptitude

sadly by how things are going unless we kick it into gear we are gonna lose this major order we have only gotten 2 done and have only 1 day left
Diver ineptitude, I can see people crying saying it was impossible, but it's all the players fault for our failure. Divers are refusing to help defend planets, and it's costing us.
Have we lost the last two major orders because I haven't gotten medals for either.
It's a known issue that medal and super credit rewards are sometimes delayed. It's mentioned in the patch notes. Just today I finally got the medals from two orders ago. They'll roll in with time, it just takes several days sometimes.
its just delayed but you'll receive it eventually. I got mine just today, got like a total of 150 medals
I love this game been playing since release, but how are we suppose to take this many planets in 3 days with alot bugged weapons and all these crashes? Also I was screwed out 2 major order and 1 personal order reward medals because medals are capped at 250 and the game doesn't tell you. I'd been saving super credits and medals for the new war bond coming out this week. Just saying its starting to feel like battered wife syndrome over here.
It would have been a super easy order if players weren't brain-dead. Players are just refusing to defend planets, and are scattered to the wind, when they should be on 2 defense planets, nowhere else

Cause from what I know from the official discord is we can only increase our side no way to “help” the enemy on attack or defense of planets

Bad info. Already debunked, failing a mission does NOT help the enemy. Also, success is not tied to operations completed, its tied to total xp gained after completing an operation. So if you can fully complete 7+ difficulty misssions in a timely manner maxxing out xp you help more than doing a bunch of low lvl missions that give little xp.
Source or cap. The missions are locked in at 10/mission, it's only logical to assume time/% is the optimal ratio

You don't have to complete major orders The galactic map adjust based off of whether or not we complete or fail failure is part of the plan. They adjust the storyline release based off of what occurs not based off of whether or not be complete them stop being an ass
Smh, if you believe our efforts have no effect, stop playing, because that's treasonous talk. Major orders still affect gameplay, because it gets people to focus on one planet. People suck at focusing on liberation unless incentivized by orders
