Dr. Lisa Farrell's ability to convey information about vestibular rehabilitation, exercise and mindfulness in a welcoming manner have been really helpful to me and those I work with. Her online trainings and 6 week mindfulness course improved my ability to work effectively in the clinic. Thanks for the great dialogue.
I greatly appreciated this video. What you were discussing about habituation around 20-25 mins is what I've noticed worked best for me in terms of consistently feeling better and being active every day. I was trying to explain this to Dan @PainFreeYou when he suggested in his 11 Things to ignore the symptoms. I have done that and it doesn't always work with vestubular mind body stuff. It's not focusing on the symptoms, it's being mindful and noticing when you have reached a threshhold, then mindfully push into that, and deciding when it's time to retreat and ground. Also being mindful about letting go of any fear or stories coming up about what this means, blah blah. His other 10 suggestion are definitely useful for this though. Thank you ladies!
