As General Mandal 21484 it was funny seeing the board from your perspective as well didn’t see that black was actually able to kill me because I would have set on four my mistake! And I was thinking no way was black only intermediate and you beginner I even thought purple could have been intermediate as well. I was pincered in the middle with one bonus while everyone else was getting massive I don’t think there was really anything else I could have done, GG Pete was an honor!
@@tsherman393definitely would of been when Pete was wondering where I was going when I went into Red I was trying to address black which red had no interest in but pissing off everyone🤣
Pete's lack of knowing colors cracks me up every video. Is it purple, magenta, pink? Who the hell knows and who the hell cares? We know who he is talking about lol
U ain't lying, I try another to use alliances to my advantage and be a good neighbor, but there's always some idiot that I Allied and they either brake my sh** or wipe me put for cards. It's getting annoying
I feel like this happens to me so often once I get down to the 3 player endgame. Find a moment to take down one opponent and card lock them only for the third player to cut me off at the knees instead of showing patience and trading with me. It might be the right move but it feels like punishment for trying to progress the game. So now when this happens, I zip back to one or two caps with all my troops and say fine “y’all learn how to end the game 😂”
Hey Pete. Love your content! Think you can make your UI a little bigger. It’s hard to see the number of troops on each territory, even on the big screen. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Pete for the videos! I've been watching for a while now. I use these videos to counteract the horseshoes my mum has when playing games. I can proudly say I mostly kick her ass these days at RISK. The first day was a rude awakening!
Rough position. Not much to be done when Black came out of the early game holding a 2 point cap guard on a +6, sits on his larger bonus stocking troops, and the late game sees you fully pinned in between two players who both only border you. I struggle to think of a way you could have let Red interact with Black without only getting +7/turn, and it was too early for trades to outweigh the +35 black would get in the meantime. Hey, sick purple and red kills though!
I think it's never smart card blocking an overly aggressive noob. They will just try and ruin your game instead of negotiating out of the situation. I was a little disappointed seeing Pete going for the bold and costly card block vs red while black could just stock up for the 1v1. Red showed willingness to negotiate when Pete left them the noob corner after red broke the shit out of Pete. However I doubt red would have been smart enough to realize how massive black was becoming and Pete would have risked finishing 3rd if he didn't card block red so it was probably the only option he had.
From a strategic standpoint wouldnt it always make sense to take a free cap and just leave like 5 or 10 troops on? In the hopes they roll it and lose big?

Gold/yellow player
....good game. I was hoping you would be top 3. ♡
Ggs man! I'm glad we were able to sort it out in the middle. Sorry to see that black was just too massive and got us both

The eyes work fine. It's the mouth that fucks it up
Tbh it's fuchsia
28:20 A 70 cap? Huge blunder 😂
Cost me the whole game
Good neighbouring has seems to be becoming more and more rare.

Depends on if you play open lobbies vs randoms or in competition with actual players

That opening was crazy lesson to the players put troops on your capital 😂

It's almost always the right move to take an unguarded cap. The amount to leave on it really depends
29:46 I think I know what the title is going to refer to now.
Nice attempt at the heads up when you were so far behind. Black could have saved 12 minutes if he just ran for the caps after you killed Red.
I would good neighbor all day if it means a 1v1 at the end with me and my ride or die whoever that may have been.
first!
