Really Goode game, I know i could have killed you when red slammed your cap but I just had the impression that you were a better player so I didn’t. At that point I basically alteady won the game so. Not a lot of players trade in the pocket and uno reverse the game so I thought i gave you second. Didn’t know that that was you so GG ( just so you know, I am actually a GM :), keep up the good work

@freepete he probably means your "huh" on a message that obviously doesn't make any contextual sense. Your "huh" and moving on to the next question speaks for itself, since sometimes it is better to say nothing before speaking words you can't take back. My educated guess here

Pete I recently had a game against Chanda the Loyal as well same settings. He beat me in a very close game... never broke loyalty to me in that one either. He beat me with his speed in the end. He was a grandmaster I'm pretty sure when I played him though.

at 45:20 agreed, we use the same thinking inn a card game called magic the gathering(commander format) a 4player game usually, if someone goes for the kill on someone and they are not the threat( in commander it is usually the norm too kill everybody at the same time since we all sit around the table and the games can last all from 10min to 5hours) the victim of the slam will usally slam them back instead of dealing with the obvious threats on the board because ''if you are gonna ruin my game for no reason, u are gonna face the consequences'' we also have the ''bot out'' witch is super frustrating, a player can conside the game (give up) during the combat so the winning players stuff does not face any consequences of the considing players stuff, witch propels them further in the lead and ruins the game for the other 2 players.

I agree with Greens play in regards to your earlier point in the video about taking actions to encourage certain behaviors long term. It is in Greens best interest to reward your loyalty otherwise in the future you will be incentivized to slam out earlier and possibly ruin Greens game. I disagree with some top players philosophy of rewarding loyalty only until the subordinate can't reciprocate. That by definition isn't loyal, and will encourage long term behaviors of actively rejecting cooperation from a subordinate position. Obviously there are exceptions where you have to betray or lose, but this was never that, Greens only slim path to losing was by betraying you at the wrong time.
agree and in this case punishing the person that helped you advance the game seems silly.
Pete makes games look easy, because his Cap choice is usually top notch, making the best of his choices. ♡

At 48:20 you discuss how to balance caps on the 5th and 6th seat where there aren't good cap spots/ its completely up to luck that you get a good cap on a high number, the way I propose we fix this is that the extra troops you get in the 4th, 5th and 6th seats go directly on your capital such that caps give +3 for the first three seats and caps give +4, +5 and +6 for the 4th, 5th and 6th seats respectively. Let me know what you think pete! :)

So, what happened here? Around the 50:00 mark, Red continued getting cards every turn, even though we had reached the plan where he shouldnt be. Was green playing both sides, and exchanging cards with Red as well?
I would prefer that the last 2 players get one fewer auto placed troops and one more manually placed troop so they can pick a cap with fewer troops
Green also isn’t chipping away at Red’s generation

Couldn't you kill white through green at 23:45? with the set you didn't have enough to smash through green and get the white cap?
Yes and no. Kill was possible, just not viable. Hitting that green stack might upset green, who was good neighbor since turn one, and if he got bad enough rolls he might have just been feeding himself after white. Those bad rolls are unlikely, but possible.
I think white probably had no other good cap options

Poor white boy 😂 yes their cap was really bad, but they were in the last seat that might have been the only 3 they had on the map that’s why they chose this… it was a correct play to bully them probably cause they can’t do anything about it
