Perfect POP! This was one tight band and they didn't get the credit they deserve! Clever lyrics and tight Rock POP at it's best. Glad to see live footage from back when they were young and fresh.
the musicianship is astounding...the Knack's music has aged well..this set is superb..i couldn't care less about the audience..they do clap politely..maybe they were just taking it in..we here in 2017 love The Knack..Bruce Gary what a drumming genius..Berton Averre..brilliant guitarist & piano player Mr Handleman is awesome..Doug is so polite and friendly..and Prescott is having a ball..thx Ret for the post..The Knack rule!
yeah this live footage is a blessing...let the music do the talking indeed...i love this band. The biggest band in 1980 and listen to how reserved the audience is....maybe it's because they're getting their butts kicked by the band onstage heh heh...

They are great musicians! Doug wrote some of the very best power pop/rock ever. When I still played bass these songs were so much fun to play.
Amazing band, they were so tight! I bought their 1st 2 albums when they came out in 1979 and '80. Excellent musicians!!
