Looks a great start to the trip. Hope you all have a great time! Everybody I know is a boring sod and doesn't want to do anything even when I offered use of my paddleboard or kayak!

When you get to Laggan Locks and you see as you approach high ground on the right with lots of trees good spot to camp. Just the other side of the Loch is the Eagle Barge good Pint and food. The right side of Loch Ness is favorite as the roads on the left. Paddle the right theres a nice beach spot part way on the right to camp. Thanks for the advice on my inflatable doing well. I have done that trip twice in a Hardshell lovely but long paddle can get really choppy on Loch Ness. Have a great time.
We did this in April. The barge was closed :D
