Love it ! a beautiful place to paddle good work 👍
Thanks 👍
That's freaking awesome! Thanks Karl.
You're welcome buddy :)
Nice. Some great scenery and nice skies, albeit with some rain!
It was an epic trip Kev, it gives your valleys some competition 😁
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner ha ha, yes, certainly has more drama and is much vaster... However, less midges and ticks in South Wales.
@@TheWalkingKev and that's a real bonus. Thankfully for us we did this out of might season 👍😁
Good effort guys, solid mileages too. I just love how Scotland always shows you who the boss is!
Yup it certainly does hahaha
What an adventure! And that kayak tracks awesome! Thanks for the video, it is very fun to watch as always 😎🛶
It certainly tracks better when it's fully loaded. It's a bit of a pros and cons situation though because whilst it tracks straighter, it's also harder to turn, and, if you take the skeg out it becomes almost impossible to control, as you'll see 👍😁
Absolutely loving this! Thanks so much from Ontario Canada!
I'm so glad you're enjoying it, thank you 😁👍
That was a nice spot to stay for a night. Handy if you do get caught as you did in naff weather .
Yeah it's a great stop over :)
Nice one guys 👍 Cheers for putting up with me 😁
TONY! How are you man? I take it completed 'The Way?' How long did it take you?
Good thanks mate! You? I got to Drumnadrochit & Urquhart Castle then got a bus the last few miles to Inverness 😀 Time was getting tight and I wanted to explore the city.
Took 3 and a half days FW to Drumnadrochit, and a afternoon at the castle! I was looking out for you all in Fort Augustus to buy you a pint!
@@anthonybrockhurst5861 you did well then 👍 We didn't get to Fort Augustus until the following day.
The glasses are back 😎👍
Haha indeed 😁👍
Loving this, great entertainment for my Sunday afternoon, well done Karl, next!
Excellent, I'm glad you're enjoying it buddy 👍😁
Wow. What an amazing thing to do. Stunning scenery!
I'm glad you liked it Caz. I've done my best to show the scenery and some key points along the route as best I can. Is it too much? Too long? Or ok? In other words can you watch the whole thing without it seeming boring and wanting to skip?
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner no it’s great. A good mix of everything. Cant remember if you said how long the route was! Love knowing what kayaks, clothing people wear, buoyancy aids etc…. I love seeing people’s camp set ups to and the sort of food they take to eat/drink.
Curious to know how your mates got their nick names… or dare I ask!😜 oh and what do they call you??😂👍
@@caz-nbgalatea1528 Sir, they call me Sir! 😅🤣😅
The nicknames are just daft things I come up with usually based on something they say or do. Steve (Itiwit) is dry as a.... And Dave christened Raf The Machine because he's the most experienced of us all with the strongest technique 😁
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner love it.😀 love all the Nick names. Can’t remember them all lol. Mr 40 quid I’ve just thought of.
On our way to our nb for a long weekend and having a right giggle in the car of Mr ‘dry as’😂😂
Look forward to seeing the rest of the trip ….’sir’😂
Karl, just a suggestion, i enjoy your videos . In fact you encouraged me to buy a Chelan 140 and a Deschutes, 130, I live in Oregon and have paddled on Lake Chelan and the famous Deschutes River.. BUT it gets hard for me to continually watch you just paddling down the stream from your point of view. Or looking into the camera. It needs more personal interest variety. I am also interested in shots of you paddling by, talking about your boats. I want to know more about your 2:57 , and imterviews with them, their backrounds. Interests, etc. Compare the various boats and their opinions too.Change it up a little. Give the camera to them some times. Give them more of a role. Just pull up stop paddling and interview them too. Talk about your equipment more. Compare your trips etc
Thanks for the feedback, there are some interesting points there, some of which I can work with, and some not so much. For example, some of the group are happy to be in the background but that's it, that's all they want in terms of being on camera. Nevertheless as I say, I can work with some of your ideas 👍😁
