In this video I outline 6 myths about MODERN DAY SLAVERY
I’M Gonna give you some stats - e.g. UK Government estimates of people are in modern slavery in the UK.
Can I tell you about 2 x real life stories of recent MODERN DAY SLAVERY (one which is particularly gruesome).
Together, we are going to explore emotional tactics + psychological manipulation used by perpetrators of slavery.
And of course, some awkward dad jokes along the way.

It would be really interesting to see a comparison between tactics used in cults versus in modern enslavement versus in domestic abuse. It sounds like it's a lot of the same dynamics in terms of how One person holds power over the other and the methods they use to do so. In case you're looking for another topic to do - or did UA-cam just not tell me about this video you've already done on this topic?
There is also a lot of crossover- many cults use their victims as free labour working very long hours- one that begins with "S" has an "elite squad" where people regularly do 100 hour work weeks (world wide, including in the UK)- cults are abusive relationships and the psychological manipulation is similar- gaslighting and phobia indoctrination (of the outside world) often used in both.
