I remember when Home Ec and Shop were mandatory. Girls HAD to take Home Ec; we could not take shop, it wasn't "feminine." Kids today rarely learn anything hands-on, and they're missing a huge market. Our local carpenter has a waiting list of customers. It is essential that today's kids learn the building trades. I'm glad to see the adults organizing to make this happen, and also glad to see girls in the classes.
I really enjoyed this video. I think a tiny home is perfect for those areas that are suffering from all these wild fires. I also think every child should have some carpentry skills. This had a lot of good information.

The tiny homes would be a great transitional housing for the homeless. Nothing fancy but room for a bed 🛌, outlet for charging a 📱 & 2 larger ones for showers, laundry, & common kitchen

Did you get to see the Incredible Tiny Home box for $25k and if you did, what did you objectively think of it? We live in Florida and are considering this low-priced builder from Tennessee which, obviously for us is easier to buy from than a California builder.
I attended this expo, got to meet you guys and alot of awesome people, heard alot of useful info, and took notes! I'm still trying to convince my husband, but hope to build a THOW for wintering away somewhere warm and then retiring in some day. Would you know what company is shown near the end of this video, that makes those big glass doors that lift up to become an awning over their deck?
Realistically, can you address where tiny homes are all ready legit, total cost estimates for set up, permanent land set up locations etc. For non skilled builder, where's the list of tiny home builders and transport costs?

I went to this show in Fresno and I'm glad I did because I realized I am a bit claustrophobic and just couldn't live in these. They are cute tho.
