Hi Pete, it's great to see you so keen on getting things done.I have been a bit slack with my cars too but mainly due to the heat up here but watching you has given me a second wind...cheers mate,Rach
Hi Pete,im Paul Collins great work on the GXL and the ZK, Ive got a few fords here including some ZKs, that little box in front of the consol from the car is the illuminated entry timer, also those XF front doors you have, youll have to alter the outside mirror mounting holes in the top frames as the 2 models have differnet spacings, cheers keep up the excellent work.
Thanks Peter great video as usual looking forward to your progress on the grille repairs could of used stainless steel mesh offcuts heat the plastic push it over reheat then wipe the plastic flat on the back even use some scrap plastic made of the same material as the grille anyway a man with your talents works it out Where do you find the time so many projects anyway cheers!
Hello Peter!! Great to see you and all the progress you've made!! I hope to see my name again soon in the Patreon Credits! Lol.. Oversight on my part but please check your messages!👍👍 Love the motor bits!! As always. Peace and love from Parma, Michigan!!
Hi Peter great to see you working on the XC seadan it will be good to see you finish it , love watching your very interesting content , Thanks Peter 😮😮...
To adjust the height of the bonnet just raise the bonnet and loosen the bolts that are attached to the inner guards and then lift the bonnet up and then tighten the bolts up again before lowering it down
Hi Pete, curiosity got the better of me I looked up the code for that block. Says it came out of a June 1980 Ford Marquis (ZJ, I guess), as you said from Brisbane. Cheers
bunnings has a rockwool 50mm rolled insulation with sarking paper on one side. i have used it to line my shed roof and the difference all year round has been stupendous. hit me on the right day and i'd be happy to get off the hill and come help installation.
That grill is mint compared to my original one fitted to my XC, most of the mounts for the screws are cracked off, I have run a foam strip under the grill and bumper to hold it in place, and the two top bolt mounts are so broken I have araldited panel washers to the grill to keep the top in place
Would be good to try fixing a plastic component such as that Grill using Solvent depending on what plastic it is. M.E.K for ABS and Polystyrene, Dichloromethane for Acrylic and Polycarbonate. You could then back up behind using the same sheet material which would probably be stronger than using Epoxy as the solvent welds it together.
i'd almost be tempted to get some 1/4 inch plate, make a buck for that lower plenum so you can make a couple of them from sheet steel and sell a few to pay for the rest of the parts and materials, now you got a plasma the 1/4 plate is easier to cut

So glad I don't have this many projects on the go (although secretly I'd love to have this many projects on the go😅)

Lots of projects on the go. I know the feeling. Enjoy the videos. 👍
Hey Peter. If u are going to restore the EJ I suggest instead of using a EH end, use a HR front end, with disc brakes.

Good video Pete im looking forward to seeing the xa getting some work done
39:08 bullet holes in the boot 🤔 from across the road ..... again miss the galah but got the XA ? cheers, Andy in Adelaide, Valiant City.
Pete, any thoughts of doing something abit different to the XA? Maybe more of street/strip, or custom/show look?

Not a Marquis then as that was ZH.
ZJ & ZK were the Fairlane Sportmans (JH63)

Peter, looks like you already need to double the size of your country shed. Or triple it.

Do you have the manufacturer/part number for the EGR valve?

You mentioned Efotech (or something similar)...what is this?
Lots on the go Peter.
Who did the ceramic coating on the exhaust manifolds?
Cheers 😎
Graham did a good video years ago fixing a XB grill using q bond and powder.
Yeah I understand that, but I wanted a physical reinforcement to hold the crack exactly where it was during disassembly, cheers.
@@PeterAndersons I did comment prematurely whilst watching the video. Your efforts worked out well in the end.
I've got a few lh front doors but I'm in sa
