Agreed. This is a really important factor too. We need people to be able to understand what it means when a show is categorized as "entertainment" when they play on networks calling themselves "news." Are all these pundits truly necessary to understand current events? Do we actually need all this editorial and opinion when we get our news for the day?
I like a lawyer to explain the law stories, that's okay to have multiple legal experts on a legal story...

That's a big reason FOX settled. Like all criminals, it isn't official till a court or a jury finds them guilty. Even then, they will say it was a setup, that the system has a bias against them, that it was politically motivated etc. Gaslighting 101. This is especially important because no legal precedent was set for the next lawsuits to follow.
People, corporations and things are what they do. They are not what they, we or anybody else says. Everything is defined by it's properties.
Lying works, however, because humans tend to believe what they hear and humans are very loyal, especially to past choices. A small percentage of humans exploit our natural trust. It isn't a big problem in small groups where we can know everyone personally. It is a major problem the large groups that are a natural result of technology, agriculture and civilization.
Human evolution is far slower than technical and social change. The rise of things like FOX is only one of a vast array of social and health problems that result from a disconnect between the physical and social environment we evolved to fit and the physical and social environment we have made.

I do not see how firing Tucker makes the problem of this woman’s lawsuit go away. Just because you remove a problem employee does not mean his actions in the past suddenly get erased from existence!
