Yes on the inside they are very similar, especially on the tech side. But on the outside A7 can be set up in a very aggressive s-line, while the A8 is just bland and boring. I think he will like the more sporty looks with full s-line opted in. Otherwise A8 seems like the most modern German limousine right now.

The Navigation/infotainment is positioned way too low. It's not easy to look at and use it while driving. Don't understand why they did that. MMI is more user friendly..

M-B with their AMG C43 using a 2.0L Turbo engine....why in the name of sanity is it called a C43? What the hell does 43 have to do with anything?? I am OLD SCHOOL, you know when you called it a 426 Hemi, it's cause it was 426 cu in! Simple. I guess within these companies, some departments HAVE to validate their existence?! I usually really like your reviews, but what you said about the engine was just absolutely wrong. Let me fix that. The older 3.0 TFSI, as seen in the A6, S4, S5, etc. wasn't all that fuel efficient because it was supercharged and thats why it had to go. The engine thats actually in the new A8, the S4, S5, Panamera, etc is also a 3.0 litre V6, but has absolutely nothing to do with the old, supercharged one. Its rather pretty much exactly the same engine as the 2.9 TFSI V6 as seen in the RS4, RS5, but with a slightly different crankshaft and only one instead of two turbos. But basically those two engines are virtually the same. They are even based on the same block. New 2.9 TFSI and 3.0 TFSI are nearly identical. Both have nothing to do with the old 3.0 TFSI.
Gianni Ciocann e class isn't the competitor of this a8.... this a8 is really good and hightech but for the real luxery the s class is just better. s class has the name or something.. the a8 is the most hightech cruiser and the s class is the luxery cruiser. its what you want!
First time I see 20 inch wheels that look like 15 inch wheels. One thing is sure: they are awful! 🤮🤮 And these fake exhausts...🤮🤮🤮 By far the ugliest A8 ever created aesthetically.

I just test drove one today. There is plenty of room in the front and the rear. No issues.

For now there is only a diesel and petrol version with a V6 in Europe. No V8s but i think there will be a V8 and also a W12.
