What you said about the comparison of the M, AMG and RS models is so true! I don't get why only so few people seem to understand this. They aren't really comparable, they're all for different purposes. Very wise of you Max ;)

I think you mixed that up. This generation of Quattro will send up to 85% of torque to the rear wheels.
How can you prefer an automatic over the DSG? I drove the new one and it's so numb. Yes it may be a bit smoother but if I'm buying an rs personally I want something special.
Depends on your main use for the car, and your driving style / personal preference I think. I found the DSG in my M4 great when pressing on (and no doubt on track), but it was less adept at daily driving in city traffic - jerky and lacking finesse. I think that suits the M4’s character perfectly. Equally, the RS4 tilts more towards the daily driver application where ZF does a really nice job. Each has its benefits and compromises.

RS4 is the no drama car. You drive fast w/o noticing. C63 is as much drama as you can get. The m3 doesn't have a soul of it's own.

RS4 is a beautiful and fantastic car in the real world of real life driving.
BMW and MB maybe good for track. The real life driving is not a track. Real life driving is about the ability to go fast but safe in different road conditions. Not like BMW or MB when slightly wet and slippery they become useless...

Why do you think so?
Yes but engine covers are here to provide an "clean look" to the engine bay. So they are here for the people who likes that kind of car for the luxurious-expensive image it has. Of course a car guy would prefer to see the engine.

The engine is still too far forward - meaning understeer. They need to move the front axle forward like they did with the new Bentley Continental - this allows the engineers to move the engine backwards and down, meaning less understeer and better handling.
This car is great on the motorway but nowhere else - suspension is rubbish on anything but a perfectly flat road.
The Audi S6 is a much better buy.
