Looking forward to more vinyl unboxings. My only feedback would be to show more of the boxset... For instance, some shots on the inner cloth-bound jackets and what they look like. Love your content. Keep killing it. With regard to the 8/27/72 Veneta box, I want this reissued above all else. I'm sure I'm not the only one but 8/27 also happens to be my birthday. I've been diving deep on Dead material recently and I love your channel!
Was this complete set issued on cd before? I bought the lp box set but i would have preferred it on cd just because the lp box set takes up too much space (and weighs a ton!) and the cd's would be more convenient, and I'm sure they'd sound great.
I got mine (#1748) a few days ago as well. First impressions: Very well produced, whatever the process used. The vocals, however, sound as if studio recorded - they're clear yet somewhat back in the soundstage - but the jams sound live, and you can feel the room. All in all, a splendid production of some seriously Dead music! I was 22 in '72 and already a big fan. These shows take me back, and I'm one happy camper!
From what I understand, you can check out an interview with JM and a comedian that hosts a show called, "let there be talk." They talk the Dead and what not. Apparently, the Europe 72 recordings have been dubbed or worked on in the studio prior to Release.
That is a very cheap little stylus cleaner. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089QHSLNK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I don't love the gel from he cleaner touching my stylus so I usually just use a brush, but I like the mirror on the outside to see when the stylus is getting visibly dirty.
I'm hoping there will be enough remaining copies for me to purchase mine this upcoming Friday 08-12-2022. I know that making a musical purchase of this magnitude would be hard to explain to a non-Dead Head , but I've sat out on too many of the previous releases (examples: Complete Europe '72 & Complete Winterland) and I've regretted it to no end. I would feel somewhat vindicated, if I were able to lay my hands on one of these babies!
I waffle back and forth on buying this, I don't really like the Dead enough to spend $550. But this is a buy now or cry later kind of release, in 2 years it will probably be $2000+
@@marksironi3324 I totally understand, especially when you figure in both the tax & shipping costs. I'm pretty sure that when payroll arrives I'll decide to get something else of theirs I've been wanting instead like the Olympia Box-Set?
Great video. Enjoy all your Dead video's. You're doing great!

I love these videos. Wanted this Lyceum box but it was out of my price range. Looking forward to more videos. Please do more if you can! Thanks!
#1870 here, amazing sound quality, LOVE the release, years of great listening ahead.
It is fantastic. If they keep releasing Europe 72 concerts on vinyl, I’m going to end up with quite a large collection!
Wow! I am happy with my cd set of the whole tour. Would love this too. But not in the budget.

I was at the Bristow show this summer and picked up that nights poster. I had no idea it was the same artist who did this box. Pretty cool!

@Greg P interesting, this was something I heard. Thanks for sharing!
The other albums like Lyceum theater or L'Olypmpia you mean right ?
You know everyone likes a 'room & stereo' tour lol(room meaning collection)
Keep up the good work!
Record looks to have an off-centered spindle hole to me as seen on your turntable. WOW!!!!
Room tour please!
Very nice box set, enjoy! What is that little box with the mirror on top that's sitting on the front right corner of your player?

Check out Dicks picks man!
Why are ALL the Grateful Dead releases limited edition? My entire collection was stolen, and I can’t possibly replace it.
Hi, new here, hope we will stay connected
