Hi! I'm the. the guy who did the opening picture, here are some of the design elements of the designs (gonna copypaste them on the booru too):
-While the grayfruit design is wearing a leaf scarf/hoodie, they are technically naked, following Grayfruit lore
-The flower being purple is a nod to two things: the fruit in the logo often being mistaken for being purple, and a pikmin reference - as rock pikmin (black/grey-colored pikmin) have purple flowers.
-The stem on Bella is supposed to resemble a beret, the tie is a Snipperclips reference, and the dress is supposed to evocate a bell, keeping in line with other designs for Bella
-The grayfruit design's color is a desaturated purple.

They are both adorable
I really like Ashley because she gives me the vibe of the autistic friend in the group, who doesn't really know how to emote or talk about how she's feeling all that clearly, but everyone in the friend group still really likes her and cares about her.

Ok, so nobody else is explaining what happened in the Orbulon level so I'll explain it.
Basically Orbulon got smacked the fuck up so hard he got amnesia, and thought he was the god on the statue. The Oinker then does some telepathic mumbo jumbo to try to recover Orbulon's memories, visualized as mini orbulons mining into his neurons. That's why you saw stuff from his previous levels, like the DIY rocket and the Get It Together moai. At the end, he remembers everything again, including his Oinker, but slips and forgets everything again.

My favourite bit of Grayfruit and Bella streams is when Grayfruit just screams really loudly out of nowhere.
I kinda just think people like Ashley cuz she's inherently funny by literally being the most whatever character in the cast, you got a lot of wacky funny characters that are all around batshit insane, and Ashley is just there minding her own business, Red, her song and also the fact that she seems to be Ko Takeuchi's favorite all seem to contribute to that.
At least that's what i think of when the question of "why is Ashley so popular", but i also think every other character in Warioware, even the seemingly boring ones, have their own charm, in a way.
At one point for April Fool’s Day, Nintendo of Japan announced a fake game that was about Ashley being a member of a evil-fighting pop rock band

So in regards to the “motion” jank, I think in lieu of a “motion sensor bar” the game uses the relative positions of the joycons from each other to determine how it measures their movements during the mini game. If you try and look at any jank you experience through that lens you’ll usually figure out the issues
I didn't know that, I just thought Nintendo had improved the accuracy of their accelerometers enough that they felt confident enough to no longer need the bar for doing 'absolute positioning' because the joycons were 'good enough'

Here's something I noticed. Wario and his lackeys (I'm not calling him his friends because he doesn't treat them as such; more so just his employees that he doesn't even want to pay) all do different forms with their stones. Here's the list:

This makes me so happy to see! I had no idea Ko Takeuchi was drawing so many other characters, the voice acting is great, the humor is awesome, the forms are back, the animation is nice and in rhythm, it's so cool
It is a shame to no longer have Charles Martinet but let's face it, those are big ass shoes to fill. We had Get It Together that had little to no VA for Wario so we should be damn pleased to have a WarioWare game with some much needed VA so needless to say that Kevin Afghani did a great job.
half the "problem" is just that we aren't used to it yet. and it's not someone clearly only half trying to be wario like vinny (vinesauce) or holly (realtime fandub) and half just making the funny voice. give it time and it will sound better just from exposure.
I think he killed it, personally. It'll take a bit to get used to the new voice, but he fills Charles Martinet's shoes very well, and the voice acting/cutscenes in Wario Ware: Gold were my favorite part of the game, so the fact that they came back for this one makes me very happy.
orbulon's dream was full of references to past orbulon bits like his ship in DIY, as well as the moai and pyramids from get it together

(Edited) Sadly the voice actor doesnt seem to be the same as mondo as it is for the form stones narrator, i will do more research on this and report back, but mondo's eng voice is dhalsim in street fighter 6
