This is by far the most comprehensive video on the job for this model vehicle. No one has fully explained how to get that one bolt on the far right of the valve cover until now. I can’t wait to do this for my daughter’s 2013 Santa Fe 2.0T. Three questions: 1.) Did you depressurize the fuel system off camera? 2.) Why not replace the o-ring on the high pressure fuel pump? 3.) Why must that metal fuel line be replaced? I’ve seen other videos simply tighten the original one back on.
Great video. I replaced the valve cover on my honda civic myself a few years ago and was thinking about doing the same thing with my Santa Fe but after watching how complex this is, I’d rather just pay my mechanic lol

Why replace the hard fuel line? You can loosen the lower nut and then just pivot it up out of the way to get the cover off?
Supper clear, Thank you boss man
This video is perfect ! I learned a lot .

Do you have to replace the hard mettle fuel line?
Is this the same Torque and order on a 2019 Elantra?
