I think god does care about money, example: catholic church.

The role of money in religious institutions like the Catholic Church has been debated for centuries. Some see it as necessary for maintaining structures and supporting communities, while others feel it conflicts with spiritual teachings. It's a complex issue where both viewpoints have merit. Ultimately, how we interpret such matters can shape our own understanding of life, faith, and what we value. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

The Catholic Church obviously missed the bits in the Bible about giving everything away and that camel going through the eye of the needle. The thing that most "Christians" don't realize is that Jesus probably---and Paul definitely---believed that the former was returning within the lifetime of his apostles; in other words, the world as we know it was coming to an end so there was no point in accumulating money and goods. Well, we're still waiting. In the fourth century the newly thriving religion began to realize that things were taking a bit longer than they'd figured, so the movers and shakers decided to get better organized, and of course the organizing principle was the one that humans had been accustomed to for millennia: hierarchy and greed. "Christianity" has been an absurdity from the outset, and it represents two thousand years of missing the point.
