I am not Jewish and moved to tears by this interview with Mayim. She is amazing. I have been angry with regards to the anti-Israel hysteria and hatred online and in real life for over a year. People don't hear me no matter how much I try to fight the false narratives. Let's keep trying. Am Yisrael Chai.
They often don't want to hear, they'd rather have sound bites, because if they listen, they'd have to question, then they'd have to do some work to find out the whole story, the history.
I'm a Christian Zionist in Australia. I've been completely heartbroken by what has happened in the last year. I've lost many friends for standing up with the Jewish and Israeli people. And I've been so angered by the Christians that won't stand with the Jews. My Messiah is a Jew and the Jewish people belong to God. Bless you both Shai and Mayim. עם ישראל חי עם ישראל חי וקיים
Australia was a safe haven for tens of thousands of Jewish people who escaped the holocaust. Even before then, arguably our greatest General in WW1 (and perhaps in Australian history) was Sir John Monash, a brilliant Jewish man who was Commander of the Australian Corps, the largest corps on the Western Front.
They were not true friends. Though they disagree with you, they should still consider the research that is behind the history of Israel, which is time consuming. Sadly they cannot, because they don't want to , or they also would lose friends. Strange how they reject the testimony of Mosab Hassan Yousef ex-hamas, and Afshin Javid ex-moslem jihadist, & Yousef Haddad whose Arabic Grandfather rejected the call of the surrounding Arabic nations to leave Israel quickly as the newly formed State of Israel was going to be attacked by them.
Watching both of you from Malta. I am a Christian gentile woman who wholeheartedly and proudly call herself a Zionist! How come? I read, and read and read. Am Israel Chai from Malta 🎗💙🇮🇱🇲🇹💙🎗
Another fantastic episode of Shai's Podcast. I have learned so MUCH more about Isreal and its citizens after October 7th. I can not believe all the hate in this World. I stand with Isreal ! I am an American/ French Canadian that lives in New Hampshire. May the hostages be brought back home safely to their Families.
@mariocouture1701 I laughed at your username lol. Idk if it is a coincidence, but the 1701 is basically the resolution put between Israel and lebanon in the last war the Israel started. It was about Lebanon needing to disarm their south, and Israel to disarm their north, so the boarder is safe for civilians.... Israel did not listen, they kept violating the agreement... killing women, entering our airspace.... and now they ask why Hezboallah is fighting them and won't implement the resolution. And in the last 1 day, Israel and USA had the audacity to threaten Lebanon as part of their 'negotiations', asking Lebanon to surrender and allow Israel into our airspace. That is a violation of a sovereign country's rights to freedom. You support Shai. Shai supports Israel. Israel supports the killing of children. Thus you support the killing of children. If you ask nicely, they can pull a dead one from the rubble for you to eat
So happy for this interview. I am here for all the Jewish people. It is sad that marching to help others and then having them not march for you when you need it. So much virtual signalling and uninformed people. Hope after today’s news about Sinwar hopefully the tide will turn and the hostages will be home soon. 🇮🇱🎗️
Sorry. They're busy marching with Jews who aren't racist freaks for people who have it immeasurably worse right now, and who need to be marched for... This is All Lives Matter all over again
Thank you both for this heart filled discussion. Mayim - thank you for sharing your fears and concerns as a Jew and Yiddisha Mama - on and after October 7th. Thank you for your courage, your words and strong presence on the one year anniversary at the LA Remembers event it was powerful.
Thank you Shai and Mayim for your courage to speak about what we all, Jews, collectively are going through and agonizing about in post October 7th world… Thank you 🙏
Where? Are they in the room with us? Just Genocide-loving, land-stealing Zios. Reminder that Zionism is not the same thing as Judaism and most Zionists are radical Christians or Atheists.
About the ignorance on the word Zionist. I thought everyone knew what it meant. But I read a lot. It means safety for Jewish people to flourish and not be persecuted. Oct 7 made me believe in the importance of Zionism even more. I’m not Jewish. I have no religious reason for Zionism. It’s about a native people decolonizing their homeland. However i underestimated how quickly social media could pervert that word. I heard some people say “what’s that, never heard of it”. I heard some people saying they think it’s about “stealing people’s homes”. I told someone very close to me that I was a Zionist and she said “but you wouldn’t steal someone’s home!” Very indignantly. Wow. I was taken aback by other people’s ignorance. And that’s how that word was hijacked I’m my opinion my others with malicious intent. Love Mayim and love Shai. ❤ #amyisraelshai
It's been perverted since the late Sixties by the Soviets. They deliberately pushed the lie of the falsehoods on Zionism, so these perversions of it have been bubbling and public for a long time, spread by lefties down the generations.
I don't know exactly what's the use of the term Zionist today. Does it mean "not keen on the idea of annihilating the state of Israel?" 🤷♂️ (And since 7 million Jews would be without an army in a Muslim region, Zionist=not a sociopath?) isn't it the default position? I haven't seen the video yet but I don't it'll change my doubts, because the definition I see around is fuzzy and awkward whatever good definition they can come up with here ☝️... That said, I might define myself as a Zionist because I _guess_ and hope it's technically true, I hope I'm not a sociopath.
Such a fan of both these people. What a fantastic discussion, thanks to both of them for being public, for taking the risks they take, and for standing up to the international bullies.
This chick really said she's just one Zionist with no Iranian money as if the Israeli lobby and Zionists don't have a vastly superior platform to the Palestinian voices silenced in our media.
It’s been one of the hardest things for me, being too “Zionist” for the left, and too liberal for the right, while holding my grief about the entire situation.
FOR THE RECORD: At the second World Zionist Congress at the end of the 19th century a resolution was passed that gave women equal rights with men, including the right to vote. This was decades before most Western countries gave women the vote. So, yes, Zionism and Feminism can and do belong together
Zionism and feminism go hand in hand, because the first pioneers building Israel, the Ha-chalutzim, were men and women doing both the same tasks in building the country, including fighting and guarding. The women in the kibutzim were fierce and strong.
Hey Jews! I Love you! Puerto Rican here. My family said from generation to generation that we were Jews from Jerusalem and people like me, like us, are millions in Latin America. Millions! ❤🇮🇱❤ Do not think that you are alone nor that we are just 15 million. I don't know if my message really gets through. But take a moment and think of it.
Hello Hello my fellow Puerto Rican! I am so happy that you joined in an show your support. I am from the West of the Island. I moved to main land USA, to Louisiana. Here I met an awesome Jewish online. One day I asked him about Judaism. That day I decided that I needed to become Jewish. And after a lot of amazing awesome, interesting and very Holy reading and instruction I was able to be presented to 3 Rabbis who evaluated and welcomed me to Judaism. I became a Jew at 50 years old. It has been the best decision I have made. I think that I was always destined to become Jewish. Hearing that a fellow Puerto Rican, a fellow Latin American support us warms my heart. Thank you so much for showing support. Am Yisreal Chai 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 🇵🇷 . Bring them home NOW 🎗
It's true... there are millions of " hidden Jews" in the world, particularly in Latin America... and many are awakening to their real identity! It really is a God thing. Simultaneously, antisemitism is exploding worldwide... The question is how will they will all fit into little Israel if they all have to make aliyah?! Certainly the narrow, truncated slice of land that is the "1967 Green Line" wouldn't hold them all! I believe that since every war launched by Islamic enemies of Israel has resulted in Israel gaining land - so this war will as well!
Thank you both for speaking up. It’s too bad that so few so-called celebrities and “stars” have been virtually mute since October 7, 2023. Kudos to Michael Pollack, Montana Tucker, Jerry Seinfeld, Patricia Heaton and a few others who I’m probably missing. And shame, shame, SHAME on the rest of them.
I agree with all of that. I think there's also an element of generational awareness. My grandparents were immigrants, so I heard stories, not so much about the relatives who didn't make it over and who died in WW2, but about the lives my family lived in Eastern Europe before emigrating to the United States, about my parents growing up during the Depression, about their being bullied by the Irish kids. I heard the Yiddish accents my grandparents and the surviving 2/3 of my great-piblings spoke with. And I also grew in a house that my grandparents would not have been allowed to buy because of a restrictive covenant, even if they could have afforded it. I also grew up with a lot of internalized antisemitism, even being surrounded by other Jews. If WE'RE thinking those things about ourselves, how can anyone else avoid it?
This year was definitely my Theodor Herzl moment. Finally, i understand what Israel means for all of the Jewish people around the world and how important it is for all of us to defend Israel. Am Israel chai!
I love you, Mayim. You've always been one of my favourite actresses. As a non-Jew, with many Jewish friends and loved ones, I will always stand on your side. Am Yisrael Chai.
I'm American, my family is from India, I have ZERO connection to Israel/the Jewish people. But, I support Israel 10000% in this. May they prevail! I feel like they are fighting on behalf of Western Civilization.
I know UA-cam comments don't feel like the place for genuine emotion or human connections, as there is so much low-effort and lower-quality garbage in them, but i wanted to let you know that small gestures like your small message of support do mean a lot to a lot of us, who have felt largely abandoned and isolated since October 7 as we discovered that our fellow liberal antiracists had a special carveout where Jewish victims are concerned.
They not fighting for me or anyone i know. We are good. Never has any palestinian or lebanese do anything wrong to me...or probably you. I know in India u h@t€ muslims but Palestinians really have nothing to do with it
Despite the few very vocal extremists making the news in every city, and on social media, please know that the silent majority is with you. We are just terrified to incur the wrath of these radicals, who have shown themselves to be unable to control their violent tendencies. We see what really happened and what’s been happening.
Yes. I'm German and not Jewish (according to the known family history, Nazi paperworks and DNA tests in the family) and not at all religious but from the very first second on I have stood with Israel. All of the hateful, vile and increasingly violent "demonstrations" and "protests" make me not only feel unsafe but fear for my life - and I know it's much worse for anyone that's actually Jewish. It feels dangerously like the 1920s/1930s. I already know that I'm willing to hide Jews, no matter how scared I am of those hateful people... Unlike other people I kept my mouth shut about things that I had zero knowledge of and took the time to find trustworthy sources to learn about and understand things. I listened to Jewish and Israeli people, who know a lot better about what's actually going on in Israel and the region, and understand a lot of things better and can explain them easily without oversimplifying them... While I was growing up the news on and off reported about tensions and incidents "at the Gaza border" and I always lacked the context, political and geographical knowledge to understand it all. It was a completely abstract thing in my mind and looked a lot different in my imagination than it did in reality. The news about it made me numb to these "incidents" after only a few times and I had already accepted it as a normal thing that would just go on forever. In retrospect I think that's actually a red flag and shows that the news should report about things differently. Perhaps it was intentional and came from an antisemitic stance. The "trustworthy" news outlets aren't exactly trustworthy anymore. I actually complained about an online article (from a trustworthy and respectable news outlet) that was factually incorrect and misrepresenting something that happened during the war and I pointed to an independent journalist, who had pointed out what actually happened. The reply from the news outlet took about two weeks and was just shooking to me. It basically was a rant that excused their incorrect report and justified it by claiming it was technically not a lie a since it happened because Israel did something, so that basically made it okay to blame Israel for this thing. They didn't saw a need to add one or five sentences more to the rather short article to add context to it that would give off a totally different and truthful impression of what happened. I was just speechless and wondering if they were joking or genuinely THAT f***ed up and in all likelihood antisemitic. They also tried to discredit the independent journalist in a really weird way that made me wonder if they don't like him because he's openly and very loudly pro-Israel, has been several times there and actually seen the uncensored material of October 7th that was shown to a very limited number of journalists in Israel (that still haunts him to this day and he has described what was shown - which was enough for me and pushing me to my limits) and calls out anything that's pro-Hamas, misinformation, historically incorrect, etc. and doesn't shy away from calling people idiots (and other much stronger things that pretty much hit the nail on the head). The same news outlet also published someone's almost openly antisemitic opinion piece full of misinformation, etc. not much later. I complained to them about it and didn't got a reply for literally weeks, which was enough for me to know where they stand and to stop reading their trashy "news" reporting. The silent majority is standing with Israel. It always has been. It really showed during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest where they stood up against all the hate and harassment when it came to Eden Golan, the Israeli singer. Israel placed 2nd in the televoting, only 12th in the jury voting and placed 5th overall. If the jury wouldn't have been so heavily biased against Israel (and there's no way they weren't - nobody can convince me that the huge lack of points for Israel were organic when the song and the performances were that good) they would have won. I'm sure it was deliberate because the shitstorm around Israel's delegation, Eden Golan, the song, etc. was so massive online and even on the ground that Israel hosting the next ESC in Tel Aviv (or somewhere else) would have been a nightmare for the EBU and ESC. Israel would have never agreed to host it outside of their country and to give into the antisemitism, etc. Letting them win was clearly never an option. I'm still angered at the injustice of it all, the overt and covert antisemitism and hostility of certain performers. Eden was the only act, who had to practise while her team was booing her because they knew exactly what would happen during the live performances. It was so bad that occasionally even the anti-booing system (which has been used for several years) couldn't cover it up. THAT was an additional factor that got people, who NEVER voted when watching the ESC and normally wouldn't ever do so, voting for Israel that night too. It was empathy, sympathy and the song being great... I used up all of my votes on two devices that night for Israel. Seeing the result for Israel felt so good and I genuinely cried. Just being able to show Israel very clearly that Europe still has their back and that we don't all agree with our politicians and the crazy, loud haters - that was enough for the silent majority. The haters didn't understand why we celebrated a 5th place like it was a win. It never was about winning. It was about doing the right thing, voting for a song that genuinely deserved it and standing up for a young performer that was relentlessly bullied online and had to get locked into her hotel room for the majority of the time to keep her safe from the hateful mob that would have loved to harm her simply for representing Israel. I'll be honest, the winning song was good but I was already sick and tired of it after a few times listening to it while I had "Hurricane" stuck in my head and on repeat for weeks and even months later. I even started following Eden and her music career since then. She's an absolutely lovely young woman, who keeps mentioning the hostages and performed the original version of the song "October Rain" shortly after returning from the ESC... and I still don't fully understand why it wasn't allowed, especially considering other songs that were allowed throughout the years that seem to be against the rules or straight up sound like a mash-up of a few winning songs...
Regarding Iran's hate of Israel, its not 80 years, we had good relations with Iran before their Islamic revolution. Many Iranians love Israel, and many Israelis love the Iranian people and differ them from the regime.
I love you girl🥰🥰 Always will, but as a liberal Jew myself, what I always believed was that Zionism is bad and Netanyahu is a radical. This is what the western media sold to me and I knew no better. But what happened at the formation of modern israel was happening during constant and ongoing attacks on Jews. I didn’t know that it was under Netanyahu that thousands of Jews were pulled outs of their own homes in the name of peace. Or that Israelis were helping pay utilities, treated Palestinians in their hospitals. There wasn’t one day of peace under Arabs. If you’d pull up any old news articles from the 40s, you see that the eviction of Palestinians were done by Arabs, because they thought they will be able to wipe out the Jews and then move back. No government is perfect but my impression was much worse than it actually was, only because the media kept feeding it to me. Until last October I was so naive, I’m a totally different person now….
you weren't the liberal... you were a lefty nut case. that is a very fine distinction between liberal and lefty. you can definitely be a liberal and the total Zionist. you cannot be a lefty and Zionist
@ Yeah, for sure. I first got curious when I found out that israel didn’t have a constitution, but then it made so much sense why they keep having elections five times a year 😂 And even without the constitution, they have more order than we do in the west. It takes time. I spent countless hours checking and rechecking. American politics, Israeli politics. UN…. Looking at the government statistics and all that. I didn’t want to have discussions before I knew my facts. Didn’t want to contribute to the misinformation that’s already out there. The problem is so big that only by zooming out and looking at the big picture things come more into focus. Jews have always put our destiny in the hands of everyone else. Time to change that…✊
that is horseshit, the Nakba didn't happen because of Arabs. Read some more history books, or actually listen to the Palestinians who are still alive to day and can give you first hand testimonies.
Mayim, Islamists demonstrations around the globe should tell you it is not a conflict about land, it is about restoring a glorified 7th century era of conquests and religious dominance.
What are you on about? Those lands are literally stolen by European Zionist “Jews” because they believe it’s given to them by “God” 🤦🏾♂️🙄. Do people not know how this started?
Hi 🙋🏽♀️ This was a great conversation. I am a Christian and proud supporter and defender of Israel and Jews around the world 🌍 ‼️🇮🇱💙🙏🏽 We are with you until the end 🙌🏽🇺🇸❤️
I'm Ukrainian and it touches my heart so much to hear this amazing woman saying she's Ukrainian 🙏 It hurts me so much we lost connection to Jewish people in our culture
I hear you. I'm not from the former USSR/Russia, but born in NYC and raised there, and in a near suburb. I was living in NYC on 9/11, right across the East River in Brooklyn. I've seen and experienced antisemitism since I was young, right here in the US. The difference is that some people live in a Jewish bubble, and some don't. If you don't, no matter where you're from, you weren't surprised. I'm more surprised at all the people who are surprised.
@@Historian212 you're the one who lives in a bubble you worry about your paranoia of discrimination while actual people are being massacred, typical western lunacy
I agree with every word that Mayim said. Her perception of reality and morallity, her pride in her jewishness, and she's just such a wonderful, super-smart, emotionally smart person. And I'm crying with her. Her moral sensitivity is beautiful ❤.
Wow, thank you for such an open, vulnerable, and brave conversation. Man, I just thought the whole time I would love to hang out with this intelligent, compassionate, and real woman!!
All my life, I have been told I look Blossom and Carrie Bradshaw. Always, I have loved being compared to Sarah Jessica Parker because the whole world declared her to be beautiful. But when compared to Mayim Bialik, I knew the whole world thought she couldn't be beautiful because Jewish. Truth is, I do look like her, and we are both beautiful. Jews can be beautiful too.
I was 12 years old in 1975, when the UN passed the resolution that Zionism was racism. I was so confused- coming out f Talmud Torah, my understanding of Zionism was that the land, described by Hashem to Moshe, aka Canaan, belonged to the Jewish people. I asked my mother if the UN would ever pass a resolution saying, 'to believe Jesus is the saviour of the Christian religion is racist'? You both have done remarkable work since October 7 that has given me strength to get up everyday since.
@amyrobern9662 actually, what Israel did to Palestine is the equivalent of you getting a new spouse because 'they need a house after they were kicked of out of their other one'. And instead of being grateful to you, they r*pe you, kill your kid and justify it by saying they were a 'young man', r*pe your daughter, steal and vandalise things in your home, then go to mass kill and r*pe your neighbours. Just because someone said this is your promised land, does not make it true. The land belongs to the people who currently live there, which were the palistinians, before the UK decided to gift it to you. If you are so okay with others gifting claimed property to others, I would gladly take on your land, house, and possessions. I hope you don't mind staying on the street. I hope you understand UN's conclusion now
I am a non-Jewish Zionist, the only one in my family standing up for Israel. Losing a friend recently, who said I support a "fictitious" Israel. So the friendship had to go. I have loved Israel and the Jewish People since I can remember and I stand with Israel now, even more strongly than before. If I could go to Israel tomorrow, I would. Thank you for this program.
I'm really glad I made the decision to listen to this discussion. It echoes the same things that have been on my heart since October 7th...my confusion over the polarized media and how the word Zionist suddenly seemed to imply inherent wrongness, even from people who claim nationalism is something they might prefer. I'm heartbroken over the suffering of so many people.
Islamists demonstrations around the globe should tell you it is not a conflict about land, it is about restoring a glorified 7th century era of conquests and religious dominance.
This is a brilliant interview. Everything said here is how we are living now. My heart breaks hearing it and my heart beams in pride from this and my heart is filled with hope and belonging through this. Thank you.
I am 83 years old. I boarded buses with all shades of people. We cried with each other in fear and we hugged each other with hope. I cried again with all shades and shakes of people on a subway when John Kennedy was murdered. I joined arms and sang with many shades of people at Woodstock . My children laugh at me and ask, “Mom, you handed people flowers ?” Yes, I had hope . We chose to live only in integrated neighborhoods. I taught only in inner city schools. I believed in fighting with others for homes , for healthcare , for fair treatment from police , doctors, banks…; for the right to exist with equal opportunities and support - no matter our abilities , our place of birth, what we look like , or what gender we are or what gender we sleep with. The right to exist …. The US is my adopted home and I love it but Israel is my birth mother and she did not give me up willingly. She did not raise me but she yearned for me always. I will always love, and be grateful and loyal to my adopted mother, but I will never let my birth mother be alone again. Where are my friends ?
I hate that Israel is loosing this malicious propaganda war at the moment. Israel aways wanted to build something together...... I stand with Israel - so enjoyable to listen to such beautiful minds.
oh, so many beautiful metaphors in this podcast. I loved listening, have been moved to tears, by the real human struggle and spirit of this conversation. My heart is praying for all the people of Israel, and Gaza, and the hostages. I, myself am not Jewish, but I feel I could still connect with the heart of all that was said here. Thank you for sharing your vulnerabilities, fears, and wonderings.
Thank you for this critically important discussion. I too, as a progressive Zionist, have felt despair for the betrayal of “allies” on the Left and confusion (and not a little bewilderment) about “new allies” on the Right.
To all the Jew haters, this is what I have to say...What would the world be without people of jewish ancestry? They are the greatest contributors to our society, namely, scientists, actors, directors. singers, teachers, not naming anyone. The world is a better place because of the Zionists. I am a great admirers of Jewish cultures and people. Love you Mayim Bialik.
@leonardocolossi2270 I am not sure if you know that this is a common last name in Chile. My family is not in the military. Please, educate yourself and learn to argue with ideas and not with name calling.
Here's where Mayim and I are different. I honestly have no concern whatsoever for anyone living in Gaza. My concern is protecting and sustaining Israel and her people. You want your people protected? Don't start genocidally based wars.
Female, Episcopalian Zionist here!!! I have always LOVE Mayim Bialick! Thank you so much for having her!!! This is such a time of cognitive dissonance, it it so nice to hear a grounded voice that no only supports women in society, women in medicine, but Zionism in such a clear and articulate manner. Thank you, Mrs Bialick for your voice. 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸🇮🇱💙🙏🏻 Am Yisrael Chai 🎗️
I’m Ashkenazi, but Arabs think i’m Arab and Mexicans think I’m Mexican, which is not unusual for darker Jews. But I’m from LA and I thought pretty meant blonde hair blue eyed surfer girl. I was 50 when I realized ethnic beauty is just a different kind of beauty. When I first went to Israel I was blown away. Most people looked like me, talked enthusiastically, talk with our hands, express joy and sadness even in public. To me, its such a relief to be there.
I'm so grateful for growing up here in Australia with a Dad who taught me the history of, and admiration for the Jews. Please know there are more of us who stand with you than against. Thank you for this lovely and emotional discussion. ❤ 🇮🇱
Beautiful and Sweet Mayim , if you have problems with self-esteem, the rest of us are in trouble! Ha ha. However, you know all about Neuroplasticity just keep telling yourself and reminding yourself of your power. “I have to remember my power” is what you can keep reminding yourself! I am not saying tell yourself, I am saying remind yourself! get rid of all that other noise. I know I say “just” as if it is easy!!! It is absolutely very difficult. All I am saying is to make “I know my power”. And when I say power, I mean the power to Love and be Loved. That is where you start, but of course, that is just the beginning.
Mayim is the best! So glad to see her out and about in LA at Jewish stuff for the past 20 years. She has been a strong voice for our generation and luckily, I remember her from many positive events (fundraisers in the community I have run, etc.). Dark days now, but so glad she still provides us all a guiding light!

Australia was a safe haven for tens of thousands of Jewish people who escaped the holocaust.

They were not true friends. Though they disagree with you, they should still consider the research that is behind the history of Israel, which is time consuming. @MarielaCachia Good for you! Self education is key. Please teach that to your friends and family, and thank you for your support!
May G-d bless you..
You obviously don’t read the bible

Shai supports Israel.
Israel supports the killing of children.
Thus you support the killing of children.

Yes. Let's pray for the hostages. Let's get them home safely to their Families.
and the occupation of palestenian land will end

Thank you Shai and Mayim for your courage to speak about what we all, Jews, collectively are going through and agonizing about in post October 7th world…
Thank you 🙏
Two brilliant minds coming together. Great convo, so much respect! Thank you.
Spot on 🎉
Yes, though Mayim's still needs a little tweaking.
I never understood the need for an Israeli state until 10/7 and the aftermath of insanity
Some of the ignorance and lack of knowledge , it almost seems intentional .
It's been perverted since the late Sixties by the Soviets. They deliberately pushed the lie of the falsehoods on Zionism, so these perversions of it have been bubbling and public for a long time, spread by lefties down the generations.
It's soviet manipulation technique that took of and made popular in both marxist circles and mena region.
I am so aligning myself with what Mayim said - the stab in the back from BLM and Feminist organizations is an aching grief.
Tfw you get treated like a *shudders* white
This chick really said she's just one Zionist with no Iranian money as if the Israeli lobby and Zionists don't have a vastly superior platform to the Palestinian voices silenced in our media.
Not a surprise from BLM - they allied with Hamas in 2016.
Intersectionality is why the so-called feminists support Hamas.
It’s been one of the hardest things for me, being too “Zionist” for the left, and too liberal for the right, while holding my grief about the entire situation.
@@tinawexler6547 Be an anti Zionist. It's on the right side of history and you don't have to defend genocide.

I am such a fan of Mayim 😀 She is brilliant.
Thank you to both of you for your courage. I stand with the Israeli people.
Beautiful conversation, thank you both!
FOR THE RECORD: At the second World Zionist Congress at the end of the 19th century a resolution was passed that gave women equal rights with men, including the right to vote. This was decades before most Western countries gave women the vote.
So, yes, Zionism and Feminism can and do belong together
Zionism belongs in the rubbish bin of history- like all extreme fanatical ideologies. They all eventually morph into genocidal fanaticism
Feminism that doesn't include Palestinian women is not feminism. That's Jewish feminism.
Such a great comment. Thank you for this.
Just say you hate women dude
Thank you so much!
Jews doesnt mean israel you dmb f
Thank you both for speaking up. It’s too bad that so few so-called celebrities and “stars” have been virtually mute since October 7, 2023.
Kudos to Michael Pollack, Montana Tucker, Jerry Seinfeld, Patricia Heaton and a few others who I’m probably missing. And shame, shame, SHAME on the rest of them.

@@SuperKripke surviving isn't everything, being in diaspora was BAD. At least now when a pogrom happened we can fight back.
Two of my favorite people ❤️ 🎉
Same!
Met Mayim years ago, she's so nice!
Shai has been suspended from Columbia for being a total loser on campus.
Thank you both for this powerful conversation. So grateful that both of your voices are amplified. ISRAEL FOREVER. Sending much love...❤🇮🇱❤
Did you know Jews were not majority in current Israeli territory til 1948?
I'm American, my family is from India, I have ZERO connection to Israel/the Jewish people. But, I support Israel 10000% in this. May they prevail! I feel like they are fighting on behalf of Western Civilization.
Thank you so muchhhh ❤❤ hopefully the world wakes up to realise the same
I know UA-cam comments don't feel like the place for genuine emotion or human connections, as there is so much low-effort and lower-quality garbage in them, but i wanted to let you know that small gestures like your small message of support do mean a lot to a lot of us, who have felt largely abandoned and isolated since October 7 as we discovered that our fellow liberal antiracists had a special carveout where Jewish victims are concerned.

Despite the few very vocal extremists making the news in every city, and on social media, please know that the silent majority is with you. We are just terrified to incur the wrath of these radicals, who have shown themselves to be unable to control their violent tendencies. We see what really happened and what’s been happening.
Thank you!
YOu are so right, and so good to know. Yes, the loudmouth loonies are very scary indeed.

The only problem with staying quiet is that the western world will become Iran. Everyone should speak up proudly.
I’m not Jewish and have never been to Israel. I’m a Zionist too!

Regarding Iran's hate of Israel, its not 80 years, we had good relations with Iran before their Islamic revolution. Many Iranians love Israel, and many Israelis love the Iranian people and differ them from the regime.
It's the Irianian regime and its hard line supporters who chant death Jews and the west.
No they don’t- that’s a lie. All decent people are against oppression. All indecent people are pro colonialism.
If you want to know more about the history of Israël, you should read "The Palestinian delusion" (2019) written by Robert Spencer.
Unfortunately so many people are uneducated on the history of Israel. That includes me. I don't know as much on the subject as I should.
I don't cry often , but I cried a little at the end when she thanked Shai

Mayim is the best! So glad to see her out and about in LA at Jewish stuff for the past 20 years. She has been a strong voice for our generation and luckily, I remember her from many positive events (fundraisers in the community I have run, etc.). Dark days now, but so glad she still provides us all a guiding light!
I love Mayim! 💙🫶
She's great ❤
I am in complete awe. This was one of the best interviews I have ever seen. I agreed with everything to my core. Thank you!!
