Great look underneath, Paves. There's really very little info out there about these unicorns. I've got number 581 here in Canada. Most people have no idea what they're looking at. Someone actually asked where to get the body kit. LOL. RE: front brakes - had the Paj-evo parked next to our gen3 in the garage and the front calipers are the same. Helpful if one needs a replacement down the road.
They had no part numbers or any other markings unfortunately. If you've got an Evo and need replacement shocks, I have shocks made in Australia now which are available on my website - pavesgarage.com
Really thinking about getting one of these. Haven't had a car for about 6 years and always liked them. Are they reliable, parts available, common issues to watch for and what's running one like. Itl be a weekend car for me Cheers
What's the rear differential and uprights out of? Are they shared with another Mitsubishi vehicle or are they bespoke? It seems the Gen 3 rear suspension is quite a bit different than the Evo's
Mine is 985. I contacted Olhins about getting replacement shocks. They had no idea such a shock existed and have nothing similar. They suggested I try googling "pajero evo shocks" to find a replacement. Very helpful!

What about gen 2 calipers?
Wow nice to know chassis versus my 2 door one is completely different
Basically an early version of a Gen 3. Cool!
Was thinking the same thing. Looked really familiar. Like the gen3 suspension applied to a body on frame rather than monocoque.
Basically a gen 2 blister flare. With irs
I would like to have more details about the front bash plates of the Evo. Can you describe the design more deteiled ?
Very interesting video and thanks for sharing. Can you inform the shocks Ohlins models front and back ?

How much did these sell for in 1997?
I always wanted to know how the chassis is designed
Thank you!
Was the rear diff lock available for the Evo?
Finally was it equipped with a lsd at the front as well?

I think the diffs are supplied by a 3rd party for just the evo. Really haven'y been able to find any info on them though. Not sure about the uprights
how similar to V60, do the shocks interchange?
Not sure what the differences are, but I just know that they aren't interchangeable
If you need some shocks, I've got them for sale on www.pavesgarage.com
Love the car dude!! Out of the 2500 production run what number is yours?. Can you still buy those ohlins shock absorbers in Australia? . Cheers :)

All JDM vehicle are like this, in Japan all vehicles are limit to 180km on stock, my evo 5 has it too.. u can remap the car and get the limit remove.
front diff is open. just has a finned aluminum cover. same crown wheels but :) live rear diff goes in the irs case.
Yea I stand corrected
