@@Smash_Garage Hi mate. I did mine on ironman and profender. Rear is perfect at about 56cm front is too hight and I worried about front halfshaft joints. how's yous after that time? is it knocking.
@@Smash_Garage unfortunately they weren't adjustable and definitely needed the 10mm front spacer, which I installed. The end result is a huge improvement over stock.
thanks. i found it makes it a little firmer overall, id say mainly because my stock suspension was pretty flogged. i do notice a tiny bit of bump steer over large bumps at high speed but overall much improved.
Your welcome. Definately need a wheel alignment after, the camber will be way off among other stuff. Ours had some pretty decent bump steer on the hwy until we got it aligned. And yeah very nice colour!
really loving the extra 2 inches to be honest. CVs are working as they should, no rubbing or anything. tire wear is all even as far as i can see ( i rotate them every 10k ) . really noticed the extra clearance off-road, has made all the difference. the only thing i have noticed is that at high speed say over 80-120kmh is that when i hit little holes or bumps in the road it has a tiny bit of self steer when the body moves from side to side. very minor but still some feedback for you. possibly could be changed with a different wheel alignment geometry setup.
Hey mate! Love the video, great detail, even going into what tools you need. Just wondering if you remember how long roughly it took you to do this lift kit? Not including having to go get the front shock and spring combo out together
thanks a lot. glad your finding it useful. i would say its an easy 1 day project for most competent individuals. if your really skilled up or have done it before and already have complete struts to replace then i reckon you could be done in a few hours.
Why do you think this? I believe it's not necessary unless you cannot adjust wheel alignment to factory specs. 2" lift isn't really enough to effect that.
@@Smash_Garage as you can see in the link. I think upper is necessari to have normal angle. Down, rally don't understand if is better or not put spacer ua-cam.com/video/yE2Cm25yLbc/v-deo.html
Thanks. I believe that it is the deluxe. I bought it second hand from a car that had a small accident up front. Replaced the crush mounts re powdercoated it and paid for the lot by selling the original alloy bar.
it actually rides really well. it has less body roll than before and its too rigid that the ride is rubbish. its nice and settled above 100 offroad and tows well also. the only thing i did notice is that the steering seems to want to stay at full lock a little more that it used to. not a big deal but something. could just be the wheel alignment though. i went with - 265/70 R17 as it fits in the spare wheel cover, doesnt ruin my power and keeps me under 2.1m tall.
Thanks. I'm running a 265/70R17 (31.6) Falken Wildpeak AT3 On Mitsubishi Challenger (PB) Rims which are 17x 7.5. It's hard to find a 17 with enough space for the big brakes on the Pajero exceed. And they were cheap! Hope this helps
@@Smash_Garage hey mate, I'm planning to run the same spec wheel 17x7.5 et38 from the newish triton mags, I've heard the lwb large front calipers don't fit?? Did you have to use slip on spacers? Cheers
@@dankim3950 yeah my callipers only have a few mm clearance on the rim. regardless of ET38 i think it would be up to the relief on the rear of the spokes to wether the big breaks would fit or not. only way to know is try unless you have the exact same rims. i know 17s can be really hit n miss with this model unless its a large offset
Hi there, I am looking into lifting my Pajero IV as well, but I was wondering how this goes with like the tires and everything? Are they still cambered as with the stock suspension or are they wearing differently now? My Pajero is my Overlanding/Offroading car but also still my Daily and does a lot of kilometers, hence the question.

Hi! Great video! I will also do this on my Pajero IV. I'll use Lovells coils and Profender struts. One question, do you need to adjust the geometry of the suspension after the install? I've heard this from some people but im not sure it is necessary :) Thanks!
Casio Gshock GD-100SC . I love the green and they can still be bought on ebay for $100 ish. ive had 2 and found the bands last for a year or so if you take it off heaps and the inernals last around 3-4 years before it starts having issues with the light staying on.
Iv wanted to do the same thing to mine for a long time. But i hear that the cv boots rip open when putting a 2 inch lift on a pajeros. Any problems so far with yours?
No issues at all so far. And I also haven't heard of that happening on a 2" lift. It's a common size to do and I don't hear of many issues other than some of the cheaper brands aren't as comfy. I say go for it.
Great video mate informative and to the point - since I am about to do the same I have two questuones if you dont mind - 1. Have considerwd and/or do you need to exted rear brake to assure enough lenght when lifted? 2. What offset is on those 17" rims (they are Mitsubishi OEM?) any issues with rubbing on 265 70 17? Cheers mate!
Thanks for the feedback. The brakes didn't hang or bind when up on the hoist so I don't think they need to be lengthened for just a 2" also I haven't heard anyone else online needing too either. Rims are 17" Mitsubishi Challenger rims. Unsure on offset but fire perfect. With 17s normally the biggest issue is the big brakes on the front not clearing on the inside. And no scrubbing at all. Plenty of room It's a 31.6" diameter up from the stock 30.6". People often run up to a 33" with only minor scrubbing on the front bumper if you have no bullbar.
