Good little Humidor, didn't know they came like that with cedar. That's awesome. My Tupperware from Target has a gasket, holds about 200 with 4 cedar trays in it. I keep it with a 320 g Boveda pack and one 60 g in each tray all 65 rh and it's hasn't needed a thing for about a year now. Rock solid set up.
Very good review and all good points raised. The clear seal up jar is a good cheap alternative and very good for storing a big bunch of stogies when you travel. Just remember to open the jar to refresh the air every few days otherwise mold can develop on the cigars if too high humidity in the jar. Keep up the good work!
I love my jar I’m a super novice and had a few sticks that dried up on me really didn’t want to invest saw a deal on amazon came with the cutter cedar and the lil humidor under 20$ its awesome 😎
The one I just got off Amazon came with a lid mounted hygrometer, bag of cedar curls, two cedar sheets around the inside of the jar and a similar piece at the bottom. Also came w spare battery and gel stick humidifier that went in the trash.
I use a jar to acclimate new cigars with a Boveda pack... however once that's done they go into a wood humidor cos it just looks really nice in the living room...
Its good. I have one with a built in humidity meter, the best part of these humidors is that you have complete control over the humidity levels, no worries about leakage.
Just found you guys yesterday. Watching to catch up. Really enjoying your videos. As a cigar smoker for about 5 years, I also recently discovered cigarillos. If you have a chance to do something on that, that'd be great. Thanks.
I got a combo when I bought cigars and got me a free small started cherry wood humidor that holds 20. However, I ended up buying 10 extra cigars and had no space to put them so I got me one like this. I think it works great for the purpose.
I just bought one; came today. It’s great for me. When I’m out in my shop I can grab and go. Besides I don’t like fancy. I’m a whiskey snob. Wish I could have one with ya. Last question. What is a good chocolate type cigar. You mentioned the Mark Twain.
I bought a jar today and now I checked the humidity and saw that it was overly humid, although I removed the humidifier, it does not fall, when I lay it on its side, it decreased a little in humidity, the room temperature does not exceed 19 20, is there a solution to this, or I really have to spend money and buy a nice Humidormu.
Abdel Rodriguez I like to keep the cellophane on as I found that I had some mold growing on the feet of a few of my cigars that were naked. I think the seal is so good that sometimes there can still be mold if you aren’t opening the door often. None of my stogies in the cello have ever had mold in the wineador.
I bought the jar at Walmart for 8 dollars, but it doesn't bring the Spanish cedar piece. I have it with a Boveda pouch for 69% but i think is too high for such a well air seal tight container. The cigars are having burn issues and they seems to be over humidified... they all almost tasted the same... i will try a lower humidity Boveda pouch hoping to get better results.
Do not store your cigars standing up like that or they will crack after a few months. Lay the jar on the side so the cigars do not stand on their "foot".

Nitrox Hockey thanks for sharing and watching! Appreciate you🤜🏻
The answer is the hygrometer.

I'm a big fan of inexpensive storage. Buy nice cigars over accessories any day.
Phil I paid $20 for a large cooler and stored a ton of cigars in there for a while too and it worked great!
Graeme
@@simplediversion4409 Ive been using large Tupperware containers for years. They seal better than my desktop humi
That was my first humidor. They work great and are great for traveling.
Now crack open that Springbank 10.

Try the Java Mint by Drew Estates.🔥💨💨💨
If I put ceadar wood in the jar could I age my cigars in it

Hahahahaha, I have one those at work on my tool box. It works pretty good. To bad I can't drink at work....... Will maybe that's a good thing....
Does it matter if you remove the wrapping on the cigars? I see you guys still have them on or should they be taken off?

Simple Diversion thank you for your help!
What is the boveda product in the thumbnail. The little brown thing that resembles a key fob?
It is Boveda's digital hygrometer that you can use with your smartphone.
Hey so I’m new into collecting cigars. I will normally buy 3-5 cigars. Would it be better to put them in a jar or ziplock bag and use the boveda 69% ?
Your best bet is to use an airtight Tupperware container or the jar. A ziplock bag is not air tight unfortunately.
I am the one who hand packed that Boveda packet in that jar specifically
Because my dad is the one who sells those jars

Ivan Almonte through doing some research there are a ton of different options out there! Let us know if a 65% pack does the job! Thanks for watching👍🏻

it's great while you're sampling many searching for that go to stick.
You guys are a riot.
I bought one back in 2019 now I got three lol
You always take 20 cigars at least to the men’s retreat Graeme!!! It’s also been to long since we hung out
Cedar has nothing to do with the seal. The heck?
Matt D correct it does not have anything to do with the seal. We did say it does have something to do with the smell though.
I add 30 bucks more and I buy a nice cedar humidor.
