Years ago I had a problem with a new Dell computer where the customer had on-site repair. I called Dell and told the rep I was from out of town and asked if I could try re-seating the RAM to see if that fixed it. He eventually okayed my taking off the side panel and re-seating the RAM. That fixed it.
I had the same issue with my AW laptop. Been 3 years with me, 5 years total and has been great to be honest. Just a software bug that caused me to do some tracing lol
I had a buddy buy a Skytech PC and it was stuck in boot looping, splash screen for the motherboard, a Windows spin, then a reset that went back to the motherboard splash screen. Turned out the boot drive was bad, and it was also one of those Gigabyte NVMe drives.
Yeah those Gigabyte SSD's are garbage. The Gamedias PSU's are garbage too. If you play 3-4 hours a day this machine won't last long before having to replace those parts. I personally would rather buy a used system with better quality parts. You would get way more performance for $650 buying from your local builder.
Ordered a Skytech and it showed up with the wrong CPU and speed and it kept changing every time I opened up the AMD app and it didn't agree with what the BIOS and CPU ID was saying. I still have no idea what they actually shipped or what the heck was wrong. Sent it back right away because a pre-built should not have issues like that. It had their test pass sign-off sheet. What did they test? No idea.
@@LatitudeSky I bought me used Lenovo Legion prebuild like 7000 series cpu and with 1050 gpu, i used that sucker till it gone boom for many years. I was able to upgrade that motherboard into better case, i dont remember any shady practises, you know other than that original case was shiet, but that is what i would try again anyday if it was the only thing available for example. Corsair prebuilds could be second in mind. Some HP you can also upgrade the case to a custom later. Never go DELL OPTIPLEX again, that is for sure.
Gent's, you have a damm good channel, you try hard to help people on a budget and I just don't understand the lack of views or comments. So I have a really far out there suggestion for you. Do a review of the very Best, but cheapest, North American Gaming PC system that anyone can Buy. Review the cheapest Falcon Northwest ,Talon Gaming PC. Maybe that will get people to focus more on your very under appreciated channel when they realise how just much a State Of The Art Gaming PC costs & what it can do compared to the £650, $700 & $1000 Builds. And yes, the price for these things is eye watering but worth it for the performance. just my 2 cents.
Hallo guys, thanks for the videos. I noticed, that you do not specify the upscaling type on you benchmarks but only write something like 1080p low fsr. It would be very helpful if you could add that, so we could have a better unterstanding of which image quality we get with those FPS numbers. Wish everyone here a nice day
Skytech use some good parts, some even better than others. I like their prebuilts better than any others. This coming from a 30 year IT (Technician). I might get this one with the 4060, 13400F CPU, and 32gbs or RAM. I like the FAT build. Seems quiet too. I had one called the Skytech Rampage, my son has it now but never uses it. It was super fast, and quiet. I had that same weird RAM issue when I bought it back in 2019.
Is the PC in this video a better value than a PC with an i7 8700k, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, GTX 1060 6GB, 1TB NVME M.2 SSD, Corsair H100i 240mm AIO, and Kediers C270 open air case? I paid $300 for the PC and just had to buy a power supply and storage.
Thats a really good PC in my opinion. Cus like 60 fps or more to me is perfect. My computer is no where near as good as that one. So even though some people saying its bad and stuff i think there be nothing wrong with it really compared to mine lol. Love the video! Helps me find out what I can maybe get one day : ).
I need help finding a resent gaming computer i don’t mind using lower settings I like a decent one my last computer was like yours no here near 60 I hope for at least 30
When I got my prebuilt from Skytech the PSU sounded like it was going to explode at any minute, they are a great SI but def need to stop sending gamdias PSU's in all their prebuilts
Does anyone know why when I play Fortnite or any game on the lowest setting I can’t play because ever 5 seconds I have huge lag spikes? I’m not exaggerating they are less then 10 seconds apart.
Hey! I was looking for a graphics card under 100$ that is good and cheap for my Acer Aspire TC 390 Desktop Computer. I cant really spend that much money because I'm on a very tight budget. Do you have any suggestions?
I bought this pc of this specs and by sky tech and it was a horrible experience I’m not going to lie this was my first pc I’m working building a new pc now cause of how bad it was I’m trying to sell it now
True there are better computers out there, however if this is in your price range or if this is your first gaming computer then it’s a good buy. I have at least a 7 yr old Dell Inspiron gaming laptop that gets me by. That will go directly for school work soon. So will be in the market for something up to date.
breaking that costs down for that system psu 38 usd motherboard 70 bucks processor 121 bucks 1650 150 bucks case cant find the exact one but cant be more than 40 bucks for that thing. That's 419 bucks plus ram another 35 ish bucks plus 500 gb nvme so about 25 bucks so all in 480 bucks. Before windows licence and build fees so yeah they are making a profit just not as much as you think. Am sure they probably have bulk sale deals for the most of the components but just going off what you can buy off shelf and best prices plus i doubt skytech get away with using cvg mall for their windows keys so full retail windows 11 key is 89 bucks 568 dollars all in including the windows key so they are making 80 bucks per unit sold if they dont have supply chain in place.
Can legit build a 12100f+6700xt for 650 bucks right now... might need to go 6700 if you need to pay full price for windows or buy more than a 50 usd case or something.
If you are looking to buy through Amazon you would be better off getting the Skytech Shadow 3.0. It comes with a 1660 super which is much much better than a 1650. And the Ryzen 3600 is fine. Its priced at $685.67 currently I bought my niece and nephew a Skytech off of Amazon late last year, and it was fine right out of the box. RGB button worked on it aswell.

Leaving a comment as a request or to see if anyone could help me... After growing up gaming on consoles (more so PlayStation's) I've been considering diving into PC gaming. I've been doing research here and there to try and learn anything I can from PC Builds, Tutorials, Specs, and even watching Setup Wars over on Tech Sources channel. I might add I have learned a lot and I'm very interested in building my own STARTER PC or buying it PREBUILT.. I see plenty of tutorials on UA-cam but would like to know more in depth and possibly get a few people to help guide me. I'm still doing my research and learning so bare with me but I need some suggestions. I would like to touch up on a pc that can run games like Call Of Duty, Fortnite, Diablo 4, And other mainstream games on 150+ FPS. I would like the PC to be efficient in the editing and streaming side as well. I would also want this PC to be easily UPGRADABLE because I plan on adding better parts as I save money. In conclusion I would just like some suggestions.. maybe a list of specs I should buy in my price range to DIVE INTO PC GAMING. $600 - $1000 budget would like to push as cheap as possible without sacrificing quality and performance.
Ripping that second foam pack out was a bit aggressive and might’ve jarred some things
I get around 150-220 FPS on Fortnite
