I've had mine for 4 months, I play mw2, Fortnite, Texas chainsaw massacre, NBA 2k24, nfs, and plenty more games. No major issues with this PC. I've definitely been spreading the word about it. Definitely a great PC. My views and following with twitch has grown tremendously. I went from 3 subs to 18 I believe

This is a great pc for the price, from the packaging to the performance, of course there were a few issues but that is bound to happen with a small brand amazon prebuilt. For 600 dollars I wish I would have found this pc before I bought my current one. I have seen a lot of your videos and this often happens in your reviews, you don't give a fair rating because you're so used to 2000$+ pcs that you built yourselves.

to be clear.. a 'switching power supply' does NOT mean 'switcheable between 120 and 240v'. a 'switching powersupply' refers to the technology used to get the power wanted. A non-switching powersupply is basically a big transformer with a full rectifying bridge behind it. A switching power supply uses a totally different technique.
All PC powesupplies are switching. There are no non-switching powersupplies on the market these days.

4th Gen is still powerful, last year I built a 4770K system with a $350 budget.
That got me a ROG Maximus VI Hero board, 16GB 2133 DDR3, EVGA 980TI SC2 6GB, Noctua NH-U14s, Lian Li PC-61B case, Intel Wireless-AC card, and WD Blue 500GB SSD.
Less flashy with no RGB, but plenty powerful for the price still. For $600 I was half-expecting this build to be 7th or 8th Gen. 4th Gen means no TPM 2.0 support for Win 11, and no resizable BAR option in the BIOS for newer cards.
Seems like you're paying a lot for those lights and the OOBE. I wouldn't do it, personally.
I'd aim more for something 8th gen or higher at that price point on the used market.

Nice review - thanks. Just a thought. Unless the review order was edited (in which case, maybe say so), you were complaining that the CPU cooler RGB plug was not plugged in, and then made out it was their fault. You had just ripped the PSU out of the bottom!! Small chance you accidentally unplugged it when doing that?!?!?! Most reviews do the testing first, so that they can see what works and doesn't from the manufacturer, and then pull it apart thereafter - even if they then edit the video to make the order nicer (but say so). It's not brand new, It's from old computer from mining computer. But if you need a computer for one year and then building a brand new with your budget, this is good choice.

@Zack Burkhart at 1440p the 4th gen i7 is surprisingly capable. However, it's very inefficient compared to a modern CPU. An i3-12100f will do the same job, and an i3-12400 will beat it without a sweat with ddr4 and ddr5 support and better PCIe support. Of course, a modern mobo and ram is also going to cost more than an old system, so there's that to consider as well.
