- Today I went ahead and installed a custom 4 inch single exit greddy exhaust, with a vibrant ultra quite resonator, also went for a nice drive and did a quick sound check to hear how she sounds!

Muffler does look good to be honest. I feel like a nice csl trunk would look good for the car. Personally feel like the wing is a bit too much, but other than that great video

I have my main reasonator deleted as well as a muffler delete. Would you recommend i do the Y pipe with headers ?
i haven't heard one that that setup yet, im not too sure but i defiantly think it'll be on the louder side

Hey Mr.Klein, Love your content man. Just wanna check with you, after watching this vid, i noticed that your pipe is having a little bit of smoke at RPM 4 till high revs. Is it common on E46 or the CCV systems needs checking? I recently got mine and its smoking a little bit at higher RPMs, but ive check oil consumption so far, not much reduced.
im actually having the exact same issue as you, i recently replaced my whole pcv system but my car now seems to be smoking at higher rpms under acceleration, i spoke to a technician at BMW and he said this is most likely due to left over oil that the once bad pcv system let into the intake manifold so when the cars at higher rpms the vacuum is increased so it sucks in whatever old oil that the last bad pcv system let into the intake manifold. he basically told me to just drive the car aggressively and let it rev out a lot to help clear out any old oil that may still be in the intake manifold and it should clear out. after a couple days of driving more aggressive i noticed the smoke started to clear up and it hasn't been back since. also keep in mind if the car is catless there will always be a bit of smoke due the cat not being there to filter it out like how its suppose to. you could also try installing a oil catch can to increase the vacumm of the engine and help the piston rings seal better as they tend to be a common reason on why e46s burn oil, i have no personal experience with this method though.
@@_mrklein yeah i was thinking to do the O2Mod from E46fanatics forum. Mine is still little bit smokey on high rpms, so far 3000kms in, my EO levels are still normal, not consuming EO. I guess it's mainly due to straight pipes.
Gonna try and copy this setup on my E39 530i. Have you noticed any power gains or losses running a 4in setup? Or are you running a turbo as well?
The muffler goes from 2.5 inlet to 4 inch exit, no turbo yet

i prefer it without the main resonator in the car, running the greddy muffler and the vibrant res together is my personal fav setup ive had so far

Wait so did you just swap the resonators and change the muffler or delete the resonators?? Also do you know if this will pass smog in ca??
Deleted both resonators and the muffler, then added the greddy muffler and vibrant resonator with the catless headers aswell (the cars catless i dont think it would pass smog, but i also dont live in cali so im not too sure on the laws specifically)

i fkn love this sound man, I need this but I will get pulled over too often. Is there any way to get this sound with a valve system? So I can close the exhaust valve in the morning and next to the police station close to my house? hahaha
depends what type of valve system you install, most ive seen just dump out the location of the valve so it would be hard to pull off a similar sound

Same here, I had to add some cats, cause the smell was just too much. However I put some high flow cats and it made a huge difference in the smell, but still kept the same extra boost you get.

they are the OEM BBS m3 comp rims, just refinished them in high gloss black, you cant buy them new anymore unless theyre reps
