that's amazing that they run demos for just 20 dollars, and then give it back to the trails. It takes a lot of effort and money to maintain a demo fleet!
This video just put a Santa Cruz bike at the top of my MTB shopping list. From the looks of things, Santa Cruz has some very cool and devoted bike enthusiast working for them! Nice shop!
Just got back into mountain biking last year and just got a killer deal on a 2020 5010. That’s awesome that you still shred at 65! Your post inspired me!
got me one of these as well - best bike I've ever ridden here in the North East. Had an opportunity to rent a 5010 in Las Vegas and rode Blue Canyon (very different terrain than the NE) and it didn't let me down there either.
After watching this you can now understand why bikes are so expensive,a lot of material a lot of people needed to produce a bike loved this tour of your factory
Looks like a very cool place to work, I'm buying my first Santa Cruz and very exited I can help out the local economy. Made in the good ole USA can't go wrong w/ that!! Your bikes have good reputation for being very tuff frames.
I upgraded this last year from a 2009 26'er FSMTB that I'd replaced 3 drivetrains in, to a 27.5 Carbon Bronson CC. I've got to say, Santa Cruz makes an amazing bike! It's like having a motor. It's so rigid. And so light! The FOX 36 & Float DPX2 EVOL suspension blew my mind! I also upgraded for the first time to tubeless tires and a dropper seat post. UNREAL difference with those too! I feel like a super human biking machine now!
Wow, this entire factory is a thing of beauty! I never knew so much effort and love went into each and every bike! Breaks my heart that I'll never be able to afford my own SC bike 😔 Amazing work, guys, much respect 🙏🙏
I have a Santa Cruz Branson Carbon C! It's THE BEST BIKE I'VE EVER OWNED!!! IT'S THE TACOMA OF BIKES!! I highly recommend it!! It was a special order so it's good to see where my baby was born! -:) Keep up the good work!!!
Cool to see behind the scenes... but no sight of Joe's glorious face?? To me, that dude *IS* Santa Cruz Bikes! Thanks to all the people there at the factory getting it done for the rest of us, it is appreciated :)
Lookin to pick up a XXL Hightower in white s+, as my s works stumpjumper xl was broken in a hit and run on broadway in NYC 3 years ago and I have been saving ever since. But family/ Mom health has been worst news possible and it ate a lot of my budget. One day... love your bikes, shop, visuals, branding, geo’s, ethos and mission statement. A great American company!
Chris Bautista Santa Cruz skateboards and Santa Cruz bikes are two completely different brands. Even if both are located in California, they are completely different.
@samtb not quite true what you write there. Here’s a cite of Santa Cruz bicycles website faq: Is Santa Cruz Bicycles related to Santa Cruz Skateboards? thnx for that tour! Although I know work is just work, wherever you are, but working at SC looks special. I am and always was into SC. And wow, a truing machine? Cool, didn't know they automated that process
Watching this brought a smile to me face.... What an awesome setup and so employee friendly...... hope COVID19 doesn't bring this great operation undone.....
They are located in Santa Cruz, Ca. I'm generalizing, but there is a positive attitude towards employees and their welfare that you won't find in other locations where high-pressure tactics benefit the few.
Love the SC factory damn I wish the staff in the UK we're so helpful . When you visit SANTA Cruz Soho Bikes in London and ask a question about your bike like I did about my Bronson CC ,THEY LOOK AT ME LIKE IM STUPID, IM A BMW ENGINEER IM NOT STUPID I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO SET MY BRONSON UP . MAYBE I SHOULD BRING THE BIKE TO USA 🇺🇸 YOU GUYS ARE MORE FRIENDLY
Don't feel bad dude, its like this all over london at most bike shops. Try dropping £20k on a new motorcycle, you will have to fight to get them to take your money.
This is why since I started Mtn biking 8 years ago I buy Santa Cruze and I’m on my second one. Started with the Tall Boy and just bought their first electric bike.
What an Awesome place to work, Looks like Santa Cruz gives back to its workers and the trails. Great employee facilities. I lived there for 18months about 20years ago Big thumbs up about the poison oak comment. I didnt know what it was and took a tumble and was rolling around in it my buddies were like dude you know what that shit is Hahaha most painful 3weeks of my life after that.
I used to machine, form, weld, anneal and straighten frames in 2002 for SC. In Portland Oregon. This place only does final assembly. I wonder where frames are fabricated today. Any clue? Bueller ??????????
This is my husband dream bike .. but we cannot afford because is so expensive.. wish one of this day to have my own santa Cruz MTB. God bless... Santa Cruz ... Manufacturing. From. The phillipines.
*Great frame and lightweight. **Latest.Bike** components were well adjusted out of the box. Great entry level bike for light off road use.*

i was thinking the same thing. i will, at a min., put them on the compare list.
great idea regarding the employees who ride to work can earn credits towards upgrades etc, love to know more
My lbs does it for kids 14 only
So awesome. I've been in the front showroom area a million times but never knew all that was going on in back.

Bought a 5010 carbon 5 years ago for my 60th birthday and just love it to bits best bike I have ever bought

Just bought a Bronson C a month ago, loving it! Wish all company's did so much for there employee's!!!
Pawel C cool man I got the CC on Saturday it's a great bike but I hate the hope hub 😢😢😢😢
Is It too loud?
I bought one too second hand few months ago and in love as well. Enjoy shredding the trails Pawel!
Hope is Great but Onyx makes a hub that makes no noise, great for UA-camrs that make content. $$$
@@Cartsp70 I know what you mean. I bought a set of i9 wheels and the hub is so loud, people get mad haha

Not entirely in USA. You see the aluminum frames are shipped in.
@HWG-wm8ld Not now, where talking 5yrs+ ago. Everything made in Taiwan and China. On the bright side lifetime warranty! That hasn't changed👍
Loved the VIdeo and how open they are to show their workflows. Love mine
Really great seeing what happens behind the scenes. It makes me appreciate my SC Blur that much more!

I only watched this today and I really love to work here someday. Its by far the coolest bike facility I have seen.
My dream is to come and visit SC one day, and I am adding a visit to your factory to the itinerary! Can’t wait 😎
Wow. What a bunch of smiley, happy people work there!
I wouldn't mind working there looks like they enjoy what they are doing.
As a Santa Cruz owner I’m stoked at how many human hands my bike passed through…but also a little bummed I didn’t get to meet Mike and John!
I just bought a Chameleon R. Thank you for the tour!!!
Wow, this entire factory is a thing of beauty! I never knew so much effort and love went into each and every bike! Breaks my heart that I'll never be able to afford my own SC bike 😔
Amazing work, guys, much respect 🙏🙏
Simply awesome. No wonder why these bikes are expensive. Real people work there and it takes time and skills to build a proper bicycle.
This is one of the best Factory tours I've ever seen. I would work there for free just to get the knowledge. Thanks
You must have not seen many factory tours, because this one blows. Calling this a "factory" is a huge stretch.

a dream bike that will always be a dream for me.
i love those black and red combinations..it really rocks..

Just viewed your video tour. Well done and much appreciated.
omg, I'd love to be a bike builder for santa cruz. This supermarket isle is a dream!
Cool video, thanks for the peek behind the scenes. I’ve got a 5010 c that I love and ride nearly every day its not raining.

You’re totally right. The conditions look excellent. I like the fact that they have a “no cellphones allowed” policy in their break room.
@@JSB1729 did they really.. fuck man. i think it looks like a shithole to work in
Awesome tour !! I look forward to seeing it myself someday and maybe demo a bike :)
🤩 I never knew Santa Cruz also makes bikes. Since the brand isn’t sold in my country. So you can now buy a Santa Cruz 🛹 🚲

Wow! Those FULSUS is really amazing😍
Very informative video, a high end factory. a guy in the machine shop had a picture of WWF "George the Animal Steel" on his cabinet,
These bikes are worth every penny!
I love this bike! From Philippines...
Much respect for using manual labor to build your products.. Really persuading me to do a V10 over the big S’s Demo.
Wow amazing.. Is there any possibilities that santa cruz bikes bring here in the philippines specially mountain bikes&road bikes in the market?
Awesome next time on Santa Cruz I’m visiting the shop store
interesting glimpse , thanks . Hey guys it's time for a long travel V.10 for the trail . You can call it The " trail burner " .

Looks like a great company to work for.
My 2019 Bronson is due in this weekend. i wonder which one they were working on is mine!! Lol
Santa Cruz hasn’t opponents anymore , is miles away from other mtb companies ! ONLY SANTA CRUZ 🖤!
Great video! an amazing factory!!
¡ How much does a worker earn per month in that factory?I am a bicycle manufacturer in Argentina!!
The bikes are assembled and boxed in Santa Cruz. But are the parts and frame made in the U.S.?
Truing machine is sick
I used to machine, form, weld, anneal and straighten frames in 2002 for SC. In Portland Oregon.
This place only does final assembly.
I wonder where frames are fabricated today. Any clue? Bueller ??????????
I wanna work for Santa Cruz. would be the best job ever!!
This is my husband dream bike .. but we cannot afford because is so expensive.. wish one of this day to have my own santa Cruz MTB. God bless... Santa Cruz ... Manufacturing. From. The phillipines.
Frame fabrication occurs in China and Taiwan. Bicycles are assembled in Santa Cruz.
They can do custom frame?
12:02 wtf...AMAZING CUSTOM BIKE!!!!
No photo studio access!! Bummer! Rad place for sure!
Looks like a cool place to work for......
I wish i get one of those bikes.
My dream build bikes.
a factory where nothing is actually fabricated, just assembled
would have been nice to see the actual factory where the pieces are made
Are shipping, tax and duties are charge to when claiming the frame warranty(less than 5 years since bought)?
How many bikes do they produce annually
Where are the frames made? This is just assembly, cool tour though.
Santa Cruz used to make awesome awesome skate boards
Looks like a cool company to work for.
where are the frames made? taiwan? giant?
All taiwan
this is assembly line, but where do they get their hardware from? eg. the frames
