Ohh god... Same thing... I've warped 2 times oem disc... First with Pmu HC+ and second with Endless MX72... I wonder if I should change my discs but which ones?
Thank you dude ;) I modified the brakes (Endless MX72 + Goodridge brake lines), tires and rims (AD08r in 245 40 18 + Enkei RPF1). For the exhaust, i've the tail silencer RC Racing.
They are incomparable. It's completely different. The advantage with the FK2 is that I did not have to spend a lot of money to have fun on a race track.
Great vid, too bad there's always traffic on the Ring. I've had my Type R 4 weeks- 3 on the summer tires, just switched for winter- boo hoo. I'd just started a "new" (for me) back-road cornering approach; head in a little hot, stab (a LITTLE) brakes late & drop a gear at same time, turn in hard and give it the beans. Seemed to be keeping more of the speed, wasn't trying it long enough on Contis to be sure. Seemed promising, hope I remember it in the Spring. This little beast is already everything I ever wanted in a car & I don't even "know the car" yet. Enjoy!
As much as I love the type r, it ain't touching that Porsche in a real race. Of course you could own 3 Type r's for the price of that Porsche. Move that car out of the front of the Porsche and turn it loose, and my beloved type r wont see it again. :( Pretty evident that the car in front of the Porsche was some sort of pace car. Honda certainly has the suspension down pat. Type r is probably the best track car for the money. Let Honda put a 500 HP v-6 in that type r and then maybe Porsche might have some real worries. Are you listening Honda?
Mcufre I don't think 400 is enough. If that is a Targa it might be, but if that is a Carrera you are looking at 600 plus hp! One thing is for sure, Honda has done an outstanding job with this car. For $35,000 you can get a track car that can legitimately challenge cars that cost $20,000 more than it. No small feat.
Mark I agree. That Porsche is merely following the pace car. I imagine he has mods that we know nothing about, and if he wanted to he could leave any car in this video in the dust. Is there a German car for 35K that can compete with this Honda?
In my humble opinion, no current vehicle can compete with the FK2 if we speak of value for money/performance/reliability... but there ... I make my Honda's Taliban... xD
Fn2 driver here, I love the gush of the turbo in your FK2, one day soon I’ll have a blue FK2
Good driving!
Thanks 👌🏽
what exhaust is that? sounds good!
Jolie tour, ça passe super fort.💪💪💪
Merci ;)
What tyres was on in this ?
Zeknova RS606
6:01 A bit of overreving when downshifting to 2nd? (At 110-120 km/h)
Yes, the 2nd was not necessary 😅
How did you install the camera? Old Link doesnt work anymore.
With the 3M Gopro support
sympa le petit tour :)
They need to make that thing all wheel drive, I can hear the rear tires sliding during turns
no they dont need to make it 200 kg heavier
Nice lap 👍🏻
Are you still on the brembo discs?
Thanks ! Yes, still with brembo discs but i've many problem with it... I've too find something else. And you?
Mark-Anthony Virzi 1. OEM Disc with Brembo HP2000 - disc warped
2. OEM Disc with Pagid 4-2 - disc warped
3. Tarox F2000 (single piece) with Pagid 4-2 -> Test 2018 ;)
Ohh god... Same thing... I've warped 2 times oem disc... First with Pmu HC+ and second with Endless MX72...
I wonder if I should change my discs but which ones?
Nice Driving...Love the TypeR
Thx dude ;)
Hi, nice driving! Is there anything modified or is the FK2 in stock setup? The exhaust sounds little better than I remembered it from this Type R.
Thank you dude ;)

Okay, thank you for the fast reply! :)

Nice run!

Is the car stock?
Yes. Only brakes and tyres are not.
AF Arcotik which tyres?
Great driving! Which oil are you using? The oem type 2.0 oil?
Thx dude ! I use the original oil during the warranty ;)
Elle est pas stock
Hello! J'lui ai mis 4 semi-slick, silencieux, plaquettes, liquide et durites. Le minimum syndical 😉
Sinon le reste est stock 👌🏽
@@Arcotik Oui la base pour une sortie circuit ;)
You break and downshift too early to the curves.
Yes, that's my big problem ... I had an EP3 before and I still have trouble getting used to this FK2 and the turbo -_-'
how do you feel about the fk2 coming from the ep3?
It's truly noticeable that you're driving this turbo car like an N/A

What if you tune that civic to 400 bhp? I think that could put some fear on the porsche
You're absolutely right. The driver of the Porsche does not exploit the full potential of his car! Neither do I... xD
