Eren obviously lied. You don't even need chapters like 123, 130 or 138 to understand it. If you've been paying attention to the manga and Anime, you can understand it. Eren always showed how much he cares for Mikasa & Armin.
I think it's good how Mappa implemented the scene and all the emotions came up again.😭
I just think it's a shame that they didn't show the whole scene with Eren & Armin but yeah....

I don’t know if it’s just me. It can’t just be me! I’ve watched the scene a million times over. And Eren’s eyes tell me everything. It feels like he was holding back his tears when he said he hated Mikasa. The entire scene focuses a lot in their eyes. People be like “he was emotionless” but to me, there was more to it. He loves her more than anyone and it killed him to say that.
