No matter how many times mikasa got hurt, he believe his love for eren. No matter how many sh*t happened to eren, he still loved mikasa secretly and hoped for her happiness. Both of them wished each other happiness and be together but it wasn't their time :
they were sleeping side by side , their cheaks so closed. and mikasa has been always in the center of his memory . they shared the same cup, icecream, and they lived together.
