Glad I found your channel. I'm currently planning my retirement expedition vehicle and have been looking at Kodiaks as the prime mover. Your info is now making me consider a flatbed camper arrangement like you have here. I was actually surprised to see that you could get a full bath in a truck bed camper. This now gives me more things to consider. Thanks for posting this.

Awesome! We actually just removed the flatbed and are gonna mount some boxes on the sides to fill in the dead space! We will be uploading a new video on Monday!

Wow! Amazing job on the painting!! Dang! The butcher block left natural and sealed I think I would look nicer than the grey and make it pop. Will see your next video 😊

Good job ! Glad to see that you took the extra step of painting inside of the cabinets.

Personally, I liked it the way it was and would have started using it as is.

I think the natural butcher block after it is sealed is very pretty. Not sure why you'd pay money like that and cover it up.

I don't disagree! We thought it looked great both ways. Everyone has their preference we decided to add some stain this time!

Just found your channel last night. I've watched almost every truck camper renovation video out there; and your renovation is, by far, THE BEST. As I also own a (2001) Lance 1030; you've given me additional ideas and inspiration for future upgrades. I especially like the new countertops. They look great! After extensive research, I found the 1030 model to be the best camper for the weight and money that includes all the features I wanted, including a dry bath. I am also a RZR rider (from NM) that plans to make more trips to neighboring states, including AZ. I look forward to seeing all of your future (and some past) videos. Keep up the good work!
My only suggestion would be to consider adding a second, smaller, table top if you don't plan on having overnight guests using the dinette for a bed for the intended trip. The original is huge, gets in the way of the main corridor, crowds the seating area next to the side window, and prevents opening the bathroom door all the way. I also prefer to remove the table altogether when lounging in the U-shaped "couch", so a smaller table is easier to temporarily relocate .

Thank you so much! We love the camper so far. We are excited to get the exterior done here the begging of 2023! We appreciate you following along it means more than you know! Look us up if you ever in the Phoenix area! We have plenty of land and have friends boondock on our property all the time!

@@JensenAdventuresaz Thanks for the offer. I love Phoenix -- went to high school (Paradise Valley HS) there many years ago. I will reciprocate the offer if you are passing through, or simply want to enjoy, the mountains of northern NM, specifically the Jemez/Nacimiento mountains about an hour northwest of Albuquerque. I've got almost five acres at 8,000 ft. elevation with about 600 feet of river frontage. Pretty isolated, but easy paved access. I can show you some nice, remote SxS trails if you bring the RZR. There's a lot to see and do in the area...
BTW, I'm planning on attending the Truck Camper Adventure Rally in Quartzsite February 8-12 on my way to the Imperial Dunes the following week. Are you guys registered to go to the rally? It should be a good opportunity to showcase your work and your channel! Take care. Be safe.

Tiffany went to horizon and I went to mesa high. And thank you for the offer the area sounds awesome! We unfortunately are not registered and I believe it’s full if I’m not mistaken. I will have to go double check!

We had some room to grow as our truck is a 4500 so we figured mine as well get as much living space as possible

I SO agree with her on those hideous RV “deco” window treatments 🤮 for the life of me I have NO idea why they use those at all. So so ugly. I can’t stand looking at them. Was the first thing I removed in my 5th wheel tiny home.

Hi my wife and I have the same camper and want to paint the cabinets also. I didn't notice you sanding the walls or cabinets. Did you sand them or just apply primer?

    • @JensenAdventuresaz

We actually just applied primer as the walls were pretty porous. It actually soaked in great!

    • @JensenAdventuresaz
      @JensenAdventuresaz  Рік тому

Destroy? We think it turned out really nice compared to how it was. We utilize our off grid solar setup to power a portable induction cooktop so we can utilize more counter space when we’re not cooking.

Why didn’t you think not of painting your counter top white too? The sink hole is too far away from large basin sink.🤪
