BD Wong was amazing as Hugo Strange especially that in this universe he was behind the Wayne murders since he hired Malone to kill them.

Strange really was a good antagonist for Gotham. I consider him to be one of the overarching antagonists since he was the one who hired Matches Malone and led to Bruce’s parents deaths.
Strange was indeed a great antagonist, and BD Wong's performance was fantastic.
My favorite adaptation of Hugo Strange is still the one from the 2004 cartoon "The Batman" (voiced by Frank Gorshin, aka the Batman 1960's Riddler), who had some really good episode centered around him;
*Strange Minds* is still one of my favorite episode from that show. "Gotham's Ultimate Criminal Mastermind" is another solid one.
The *Gotham* version of the character has placed the bar very high for the next actor who will play the good doctor...

I think Gotham wanted to call him Doctor Hugo Strange, but i think that film Doctor Strange from Marvel came out the same year this season did, so they called him Professor Strange to avoid confusion
I don't think so; he's pretty much always referred to as Professor Hugo Strange, or Professor Strange...
Like in "Batman:TAS" , in "The Batman" (the 2004 animated show, in which he's voiced by the OG Riddler, Frank Gorshin), in "Batman vs Two Face" (as part of the "Batman 1960s" canon) or even in "Arkham City", etc etc.
Sometimes he's called Doctor Strange, but it's pretty rare.
I gotta say, BD Wong as Hugo Strange was a wonderful casting choice, on paper I wasn't sure it was going to work, but oh my... Wong killed it!

I liked the dynamic between Strange and Bruce.
It fits because Hugo Strange is the first major villain Batman ever faced, even before The Joker himself. He developed a psychotic obsession with Bruce/Batman and was also the first villain to ever discover his identity and has remained that way to this day. It makes him one of Batman’s most psychologically dangerous villains alongside The Scarecrow and Mad Hatter
It’s really interesting to watch Bruce meet these villains he’s going to face in the future and before he becomes Batman
Didn't care much for the show, it really should've just been a Batman show if warner wasnt so precious about it.
I didn't realize that BD Wong was cast as Hugo Strange, an unexpected choice but he did a damn good job

There are some great casting decisions in Gotham. Zsasz, Gordon, Harvey, Penguin, Alfred, Jerome, Barnes

O O Very very good Dr.Hugo Strange character here. Though, GOTHAM got its own story that is not like anything at all for what the story of the actual comic is, its still a great serie to me and it presented a very good characteristic to our familar favourite Batman villian as always lol. Great Dr.Hugo Strange video here. Gee, if this version of Strange got to have the role when he take on Batman suited like the actual comic lol...

He did not fit the strange character at all. He looks too nice and not sinister at all
Think that’s kinda the idea. He looks and acts friendly, because he’s a doctor meant to “help” the inmates of Arkham. But beneath the soft voice and kinda attitude he’s a manipulator and obsessive unbalanced man himself.
