Peter Gabriel's world music had a profound impact on me when I was young. It was the first time I 'felt' music move me spiritually. This track, "A Different Drum," from the soundtrack of "Last Temptation of Christ," is quite literally my favorite piece of music in my life. I still listen to it today when I need perspective. Thank you to all who keep it alive. Mr. Gabriel is a true artist and gift to our human experience.
This will alway be my go-to when in need of an ecstatic experience. It's other wordly and sublimely beautiful. That humans can make music that touches your soul like this is amazing.
