You good expérience change courroie trapézoïdale and poulie change serpentine simple dank you for explication next vidéos from Mercedes SLK 230 kompressor
I am hoping you're still monitoring messages here, I have the same exact vehicle, I serviced the supercharger as per another one of your videos, thank you for that, I replaced the alternator, replaced the tensioner pulleys and the car keeps shredding the supercharger/alternator belt within a couple of minutes. I've already shredded 2 brand new belts, checked all the pulleys before I installed the second belt they are all clean and turn easy, they seemed to be aligned correctly, no noise, squeals or anything like that, yet the belt gets shredded within a couple minutes seems like it happens when I step on the gas not while idling, I am lost, what do you think I should be lookin at? thanks
so for anyone experiencing belt shredding who may be reading this, it turns out the pulley on my aftermarket alternator, although it had the same number of grooves with the original, it was about 1/10 inch shorter than the original pulley. That small difference, caused a misalignment of the pulleys with the belt riding on the edge of the pulley, which ended up shredding the new belts.
Very good video you are good on Mercedes Benz so I need your help and advice I have a w203 Mercedes Benz from 2002 c180 petrol engine and it's with right well side it's from UK and I what to change de well from right to left please give me some advice it is possible to do the cost of it and the fire wall has the holes already made and what exactly I have to move from right to left thank you !
Hi there ! Thanks . I never done such conversion myself but I can say few things: - you will need a donor car to take parts like the whole dashboard, pedals , maybe PCM wires and so on . -you might gave to remove the engine to replace the steering rack -consider the conditions whixh must be followed acording to your local trafic rules to get the car aproved -consider the resele value and costs of such project / if its worth it . - check if you have the tools and maybe someone who have done this before because there are meny details ... I hope it helps
@@doit_vehicles thank you for your time and details it's very helpful and yes I have to be brave and with lots o money to do I just think I have to do the stiringcolom and the dashboard stiringbox and some wires but it's more..and it's to mutch I think but I love the car it's a good one you do a good job with the w203 videos thank you for your videos they help a lot 👍🚘

Nice video thanks ! but a question , when you start the engine there is a noise at 3 min 14 s , I have the same , what it is ? is that a problem or it's normal
Hi ! I am 95 % sure that the sound is made by the timing chain . What happenes over time the chain is getting longer with let's say 1 mm and it beggins to touch other components ; In that case it might need a new chain depending how bad is it .
I needed to check the first belt tensioner location, this video helped out a bunch. Thank you!
Thx a lot man for the video. Tomorrow gonna try to change the belt too.
Good luck !
@@doit_vehicles thx buddy
