E10 female socket, flat screwdriver, T60 male torx drive, rachet and breaker bar. It's not necessary to remove so many items. I only removed the air hose and the egr hose. I was able to easily replace water pump thermostat and belt. Belt was easy with T60 on breaker bar with extention. Never found a diagram and owners manual missing. Key point is left to right belt off Alternator goes under top idle pulley to right of thermostat. Belt comes off top of crank to the right and goes completely around tension pulley. Wrap around everything except tensioner, insert T60 and pull bar all the way to left and then slip belt on.
Have you got it figured out yet? I believe your talking about the tensioner bolt? If so I've got you for a 2007 c230 sport or anything similar. Just changed mine today!
Omar Martinez there is a spray you can get to resurface the belt. ask at your local auto shop for it. stay this on inside of belt and if the noise goes away its the belt. if after a few days it returns you know you need a new one sooner rather then later
what you should’ve done if you’re going to do all this? Is done a radiator replacement Along with an alternator voltage regulator and brush cartridge rebuild.
were both the female and male torx a size 35? seems like there was both a female torx for removing the rigid piece of tubing and then a male torx for the tensioner pulley
There is really no reason to remove the coolant hose and make all that mess. Also, the compressor heat exchanger does not need to come out fully. Just unplug from the compressor side and push it down. Plenty of clearance.
Wideband silencer for the supercharger air. I think its designed to "smooth" the airflow for better efficiency of the supercharger adding boost air into the combustion chambers. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
This is tricky to answer with out actually being there. It needs to be taught but not ridiculously so. Too tight and you can damage things on the serpentine path too lose and the belt falls off. The belt needs to have a little give in it. I really wish I could explain better over text. Thank you for watching!
i see, I was just wondering if I need a torque measuring wrench to do this job, otherwise I can do it by feel of an existing belt, thanks for clarifying
A tools list wouldve been cool, but nahhh i guess ill just be guessing for everything I need
Can you let everyone know what are the tools and sizes that you use.
I love this video. Not alot of talking. Just doing. thanks
Thanks for watching!

T60 male torx socket with breaker bar for leverage is better than a ratchet
Did you lose any antifreeze or any fluids while removing the hoses?
Is there one of the pulleys that doesn’t move
I have the same car and just start making noises how I can tell if is the belt or the alternator?

Was that a special attachment (on the socket wrench) to tension the pulleys?
no, it was a 35 torx
thanks again for your help with the new one

@@2carpros 35? I just tried to loosen it with a t50 (m271) but it was way too small. That's gonna be a t55 torx

It is similar but the belt and routing are different. Thanks for watching!
You did not move the big pulley in the middle bottom why does moves or not
what was the big black canister your removed before the tension er//?
That was the muffler / resonator for the charge air line

how do you measure the tension on the belt? I hear this is important
