I like that area, very clean, accessible bathrooms, more polite people than I encounter in other places. Got my only keeper tautog there. The spigots for water running along the pier are nice as well, makes doing initial field cleaning very easy.
It`s always a good time fishing, some days I have to go with " the car didn`t blow up and the house didn`t burn down... I guess I`m OK". Peace and brother love to you and all.

If there continue to be no regulations on the Herring and people are allowed to continuously take multiple cooler fulls of herring day after day the fishery is going to collapse it's that simple.That is exactly what happened with the winter flounder.So continue to exploit the fishery and that's what the end result is going to be and your seeing it now
Where are the herrings at? I noticed last leap year, 2020, they herrings came late. This is another leap year. I don't know if that has anything to do with their migration.

The mitchell 410 is great built like a tank and light and does quite good in the salt time tested as well

There was a good mix of blue fish and stripers in Nov on the north shore. It has a cool vibe and is underrated.
