    I see you have the tire screwed to the hub but what goin keep the hub from sliding off that axle. Is there any set screws on the hub

    Aight...I have this exact same setup. My locker collar on the none hub side of the sprocket adapter isn't fitting for some reason. It hits the nuts from the hub side. Did you have any issues like that?

    • @REVJHD
      @REVJHD  6 років тому

      I don't understand how it can hit the nuts; the width of the hub places the collar around 1" outside where any of the hardware would install, and is a smaller diameter than the bolt circle. Any chance the hardware was installed from the wrong side?

    • @cHr1SGify
      @cHr1SGify 6 років тому

      REV J Don't think you could install the hardware the other way as the nuts will not fit on the hub locker for the sprocket. It's extremely weird. If I was able to attach pictures I'd be able to show and explain better. Yours looks like it fits perfectly with what you said about an inch. But my locker is flush with the bolt holes haha.

      I have the same problem now... did you find the problem??
      Or a solution?. I'm thinking about using some nylon lock nuts instead... might give me some room...

    Is the sproket is really close to the ground???

    so if you don't put a key on one wheel than it spins freely making it a one wheel drive?

    • @DavidRodriguez-fn4yn
      @DavidRodriguez-fn4yn 4 роки тому

      Islah Siddiqui if there’s no key in the wheel then it won’t spin with the axle. So yes, if there’s a key in only one wheel that’s the only wheel that will spin.

    • @islahsiddiqui
      @islahsiddiqui 4 роки тому

      @@DavidRodriguez-fn4yn thank you for the response. I conclude that it will be a free spinning wheel then.

    • @DavidRodriguez-fn4yn
      @DavidRodriguez-fn4yn 4 роки тому +1

      Islah Siddiqui yes but that wheel could take damage since the actual wheels have no bearings

      @@DavidRodriguez-fn4yn thank you sir, BMI Kart team has suggested an idler hub for such setup.

    How to put a disc brake??

    • @REVJHD
      @REVJHD  6 років тому +1

      It would slide on the axle with all the other components. This setup is not currently using a rear disc brake.
