    Looks great . Love the fact you made mud guards for the tires but never bothered with a chain guard lol

      @@electron1012 I thought that too... Especially when the air-compressor came on while they were putting the first one on, with the speed increase on the video I thought they were doing the Big-Rig horn on purpose... Then I realized, Air tools, so ... Air compressor LOL!

      thatsxbecause mud gets in your eyes but chains rarely do.

      Blue on blue racing make your own and put a chain gaurd on it

      low probability of chopping your fingers off is far less concerning than very high probability of getting mud in your hair

    I came up with this idea back in 1970 and it was from a go kart rear end and a bike front wheel. nice to see someone make this fun things!

    Do you have problems with this 1 inch headset? I have an old BMX with 1 inch headset and don't know if it will hold up

    I imagine there are not as many likes as some people think there should be maybe because people like myself sort of hope we are about to watch a vid of something we could do at home ? Then we see this guy with great skills and all the materials making an amazingly cool toy we have no chance in hell of making at home,let alone afford to pay for if he was selling them. From that perspective a bit of a disappointment.Don’t get me wrong it’s a great thing you have built. Just my thoughts on someone else’s thoughts/question.

    I really want to build something like this but don't have something to cut the metal or to weld. What cutter did you use? I can buy the cutter and have my cousin who is a welder do the welding for me

    What size rectangular tubing did you use including thickness. It's a nice design and I like how you fabricated you fender flares as well nice touch.

    Nice build! You’ll have a lot more fun and WAY less dangerous if you throw on some pvc on those rear tires.

    Awesome build. I would suggest carriage bolts for the seat to be more comfortable or tie a patio chair cushion to the seat.

    Where do you find the square framing metal like that? I'm building my own setup and have been using scrap pieces from other junked gokarts. It'd be nice to have a fresh start rather all used pieces that I sand blast. Takes forever.

      True but Colin's actually drifted on tarmac not on dirt with oiled tyres! Plus he set out to make it with only basic tools, no welding etc.
