Haha I love my mini GS and it's much cheaper than my $1700 Bob Long and that's before the tank and hopper so ye $400 is cheap and I'm pretty sure you can get an entire kit for close to $400 also this original comment is from a year ago and so that's why it says $400 but still it can be way more expensive.
Back in my day it was the proto rail and the pmr lol. No one even recognizes those guns on a field any more. Someone asked if it was a rize and i had absolutely no idea what they were talking about until seeing this
Tippmann a5 all the way. I picked up two for 200$ in Canada. One is better than the other, came with 2 HPA tanks, a nice mask, remote coils, both have cyclone feeds, and the newer one came with a response trigger and a double trigger that I put on. Only thing I needed to do to get on the field was change 2 o rings and it was super easy. Highly recommend the A5 for any starter.
He gives me the older brother sort of vibe, which is why i watch him, me and my twin are the only PB players in the family and close friends, we've been playing since age 12, we're 20 now, and it's been an awesome time on the field
Figured itd be fun to watch. I actually use the chronus and love it. For those of you looking to buy a gun and are new I highly recommend it. Shoots straight, has great accuracy, has decent accuracy, and is easy to modify. One last thing: the suppressor on it doesn't actually work l. It's fake and just for looks. You do need it though for the iron sights
I rented my first few games and my first tournament series was a mechanical only where you had to all use the same gun (gog enmey) so that took care of that. if youre looking at getting into the sport any of the guns in this video are good but id say rent until you get the feel and save for something you really want. my first two guns (bought at the same time) are SP Shocker and an Eclipse ETEK5.
In order from the best to the lease. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND (1st Tippmann Cronus) (2nd Spyder MR 100) ( 3rd Gog eNMy) and lastly (4th Spyder 2012 Black gun)
I've had mine since middle school and it still works like a dream even though I'm in college now. I've also modified it extensively to my liking which is one of it's strengths. :)
since im more an airsoft player, i wanted something that made me feel confortable, so i was searching for -Something with a great feel and looks (airsoft is all about looking like you know what are you doing) -Something Accurate (for real, all stock paintball markers that ive used needed more accuracy) -something quick (by brother bought a Tippmann Gryphon, and the flat trigger really helps to shoot fast, but my fingers cant keep the pace all day) so i got a Sierra One with E-Grip (electronic system) and a rifled barrel (im looking towards an APEX 2 barrel, is basically a Hop-Up for paintballs) i think there was nothing better to start in paintball
I gotta go Cronus with all its attactchments. It is comfortable. It can be very mobile if used correctly, and it works for a very good sniper, for instance, I once played reserection in an Indoor arena and I just needed a few inched of ennemy to get a hit. I was litterally protecting the flank on my own because of how well I can use the cronus.
Your Nightmare I’m getting a 20” barrel and an acog for mine. Idk if it’s gonna work but it’ll either be a ruthless dmr/sniper or the biggest meme cannon on the field lol
I got a Spyder mr100 P and yes it's a really good gun and super easy to clean. My only problem is the feed neck which will most likely break due to its plastic cheap design. However I replaced it with a metal one for a few £ and bang done. (Side note ensure u have some washers/spacers to rise the screw hight or ur gonna have a bolt problem which I did.
I personally own a Cronus. If you want to change out the barrel you must cut off the front adapter for the shroud, as many barrels will not fit. You may be able to bore it out with a drill if you wish to use that shroud.
Probably wont respond since you commented so long ago but how is it my friends and i went last werkend and we loved it. We wanna get markers for next summer because we will have our licences by then and well be able to go more often. The cronus seems to be the best mechanical marker out there and it looks rlly cool. The rize has the eye pipe but can be easily broken by user error and the eyes on the mins gs are a pain to get to but once you get you used taking apart it will ease up a bit cuz you will get used to it but I would but go with the cronus. Not spyder, maybe gog enmy. But thats my opinion. Hope it helps if not okay anyways.
its a cool gun man, idk about getting a mag fed for a first timer, but it is an awesome gun regardless. So heres some stuff for you to get, just some advice from a regular player. 1. THERMAL LENS MASK, this is the MOST important thing you can get right now, please do not get a non thermal mask. you WILL regret it. 2. Remote coil, this is so that you can run a hose from your tank to your gun so that you can wear your gas tank on your back or put it in a bag while the hose runs the air to your gun 3. A good vest, very good buy, you will want a vest that doesnt restrict your gameplay while you are trying to run around. you do NOT need a super thick vest, its paintball, you will get shot and you need to just brush it off, your vest is your lifeline, your mags will be in there, your extra paintballs in a pod, and just some general stuff, or if you do decide to get a remote coil you can just keep the gas tank on your back, makes shooting 10x easier. 4. EXTRA MAGAZINES. you are running a TMC, your magazines are between 15-20 rounds 1 or 2 wont cut it, if you shoot VERY little, 2 might be your absolute minimum, but you are a beginner, you will learn trigger discipline later on, so get 4 mags, you'll thank me later. And also, just get 500 paintballs that are decent quality and go have fun.
Im wondering if the gog enemy will be a good secondary I mean hook it up to a line and a small bottle in a pouch and stuff it into a holster combine that with a standard hopper there's a 100 round pistol lol
I am a ref, and play competitively, and I say buy the mini. If you can't aford it new, go on ebay and get a Mini GS used. MAKE SURE ITS A GS. Or alternatively an ETHA 2 you might initially save more with other electric guns, but they will break constantly and cost an arm and a leg to keep up.

Okay so I’ve never played before. My buddy is putting together a pretty big paintball weekend for a bachelor party and I need to buy a marker. Looking at the cheap Tippmann Cronus. My question is about the “tactical” version. I’m thinking of spending the extra $20 on it just for the stock (I could care less about the stupid barrel and handle) Basically everyone I’ve ever seen play holds their marker up pretty high and uses the tank as a stock. Is this the way you’re supposed to shoot? Is the stock on the Cronus useless? Is it worth having or just for looks like the “silencer” is? Is it worth the money is basically the question. Thanks
Using the tank as the stock places the back of the marker directly in front of your face and makes aiming down the barrel much easier. Some people like using the stock with a remote line and a tank on their back, but most prefer using the tank as a stock
Trying to build a invert mini i got. I dont play in tournaments just against friends on speed & woods ball but they’re running around with Axe 2 & D3fy & Ethas so im just trying to even the playing field. Any tips for hopper barrel tank?

The Chronus is very reliable and easy to maintain. I have two that I lend to people when I go to events. They immediately fall in love with it and gets them plenty of tags. It doesnt have a lot of room for attachments but if you get rid of the mock suppressor and get a picatinny barrel adapter, youre good to go.
"pro level" is more about the user in my opinion... ive seen a decent player do a hell of a lot better with an autococker than myself using a borrowed LV1.5..
I’m thinking of buying a Rize, with a higher end ninja tank, and some sort of speed feed idk what to call it. I want my price for just the entire gun setup itself to be around 500-550. Can anyone give me some ideas?
Uh... I just started a few months back I bought a Cronus and it's very nice but I am getting into professional so I was looking into more compact paintball markers with double triggers and I looked at the Gryphon is that a good choice if so reply yes or no
No bro, you should get an Electronic one like the rize, OR if you want to keep using a mechanical gun, get the azodin kaos, cheap, reliable and very compact.
i have not personally used the gryphon so please take this advice as someone whose impression is based solely on what others around them use. that being said id go with the GoG which i HAVE used. great gun, super simple, fairly efficient, cheap and fairly well made. theres a reason my local field uses them as rentals. The reason id personally shy from the gryphon is because from what ive seen (again not experienced) its neither durable nor reliable. Honestly id very much suggest just jumping into the elctrics with an Etek5... they can shoot true semi which will be cheaper with paint, super reliable and very efficient for the price. Plus its pretty much an Ego11 especially if you put in the OLED board. My main is a SP Shocker RSX but i still love the hell out of my Etek5. great gun and im always loaning it to friends who are getting into the sport. But if youre set on staying mechanical then for sure go with the GoG
also, just a side note... too much for you? id understand if you mean cost as electrics can be a little pricey when youre starting out but if you mean too complex or hard to use i just dont think ykure giving yourself enough credit man. maybe just try a rental etha or something if you havent already and check it out... theyre a hell of a lot of fun
Mask and paintball pants First . All these guns are about the equivalent to a rental except the invert mini. Your own mask I recommend empire anything or one of the higher end masks. Then worry about a gun. But the mask is the most important thing. After that then get a mini or a tmc. They are the 2 best Built beginner guns and will last for years

My question is about the “tactical” version. I’m thinking of spending the extra $20 on it just for the stock (I could care less about the stupid barrel and handle)

I’m thinking of buying a Rize, with a higher end ninja tank, and some sort of speed feed idk what to call it. I want my price for just the entire gun setup itself to be around 500-550. Can anyone give me some ideas?
I got acs spyder pilot and its super good for its price or the price I got it for
Still accurate 2 years later? Looking to get into paintball myself.
I would get a mini gs. I love mine
Yes but I do not like electronic guns they are to much for me I am just starting
i have not personally used the gryphon so please take this advice as someone whose impression is based solely on what others around them use. that being said id go with the GoG which i HAVE used. great gun, super simple, fairly efficient, cheap and fairly well made. theres a reason my local field uses them as rentals.
Eh, I am not really trying to do competitive I just like to go into the woods and shoot stuff I am not ready for competitive yet
What to u recommend for. a 10 year old besides the Cronus and tippman
Mask and paintball pants First . All these guns are about the equivalent to a rental except the invert mini. Your own mask I recommend empire anything or one of the higher end masks. Then worry about a gun. But the mask is the most important thing. After that then get a mini or a tmc. They are the 2 best Built beginner guns and will last for years
I was on your website when I was watching
