    I have to agree with almost everyone's individual lists. The RAP4 468 definitely should have been on the Defcon list. The Lok-Bolt anti chop system and anti ball drop system put it in the top 5 for sure. This is not coming from a sponsored bias but it's honestly my favorite marker. I was using the 468 before RAP4/MCS ever signed me.

      Honestly, they probably wouldn't have sponsored you if you hadn't already been a huge fan lol. I'm a huge Milsig fan, but I think the 468 should have been on the list too. Probably remove the t8.1 rather than the TMC though. 8.1s are super annoying to maintain.

      Qaeta I don't think the Tippman TMC should be on here either, it's probably the lowest of the low when it comes to magfed. Not even FSR compatible. The new Valken magfed gun is in the same price range, and it's FSR compatible.

      Hey!!! I watch ur vids. I think the reason the mcs 468 is not on here because of the price. The lowest i can get the ptrwith air in stock is still 900 and the t15 is only 500.

    I got a Tippman TMC, only been in 2 or 3 games with it, and I absolutely love it. The only thing I didnt like is I had a big air tank, so I couldnt aim it effectively. Other then that, I love this marker.

    I was a little sad to see 2 pistols here (would have been nice to see the TGR2 up there!) but solid review nonetheless. Definitely agree with the M17 in here.

    I used to own a T-15, I sold it and replaced it with the TMC, mostly for the reason I didn't like the air canister being in the stock of the marker. However I never had an issue with either marker performing poorly on a course.

  • @pierrikjamy

    I would have pick the 468 or any tacamo markers over the M17. especially the CQC wich is a pain in th ass. it shoots full auto but the air tank runs empty really quick. ans it's fragile. when it came out, lot of player broke the pistol grip or the handguard in a normal use just by squeezing it a bit too much.
    but what i like about Milsig is that they go out of their confort zone and try different style like they did with the SMG.

    A shoutout for the Tacamo Hurricane. I've been using mine for quite some time now, fantastic marker. Uses helix mags which are reliable, cheap and durable. Mine has E-Grip so it's 15bps full auto, and best of all it uses the awesome Phenom flexvalve!

    A plus with the T8.1, (or a negative, depending on your personal preference), is mounting the 12-gram CO2 cartridge in the magazine, rather than the body. Fresh mag = fresh gas.

    if this list was for cheaper options (because of the absence of the DAM) then I would have put at least one Spyder MR series marker in there, probably the dual-feeding, first strike ready (FSR), fully automatic E-MR5, which can use an FSR rifled barrel to make it into a versatile sniper rifle.

    How popular is magfed paintball catching on? Got out of paintball because it was all about Speedball. "Recreational" paintball was no longer in fashion it seemed. Was considering Airsoft, but too easy to cheat, plastic pellets don't wash away, and like paintball, not a fan of the 100 plus rounds. This is much closer to reality. Biggest exceptions being range and a sheet of plywood actually provides cover instead of concealment.
    This is something I can get into.

    Tacamo Blizzard
    468/PTR
    I agree with the Tiberius/First Strike markers, but only if you have the money and are willing to drop $85 on a box of 250 FSR. I think a lot of people get into magfed because quality options are significantly cheaper.
    As for the TMC, I'd never recommend it to anyone. It's the Hi-Point of magfed; cheap but not great.

    The 468 is a great gun, but the price point makes it out of reach for a good amount of players which is why it isn't on this list. I mean you can buy a M17 with all the mags, accessories you need for under $600. The T15 a bit more but it has a lot of upgrades and features that justify its price better. The PTR 468 is $980 which is very high for the amount features you get.

      im with you, tank in stock makes the marker heavy and takes up room to collaps the stock for tighter cqb games.
      tank on the bak gives more weight distribution and often a larger tank for more games between fills.

      @__-rc8ff 7 років тому

      The tgr2 is so convenient, super smart design, and has a great feel to it. Doesn't feel like cheap plastic, and is reliable like a tippmann. Highly recommend. Wasn't a fan of the M17. But again it's completely up to the user of what fits their profile and play style. But take it from me, owner of one it's a great choice.

    • @abalrog42
      @abalrog42 7 років тому

      I've owned the Milsig cqc and the elite. I'm not sure which model you had, but honestly, I sold the cqc very shortly after buying it because the air efficiency was just terrible and the barrel...idk what they were thinking with the barrel. The elite is a great rifle though. You can make it through like five magazines off a 13ci and I've replaced all the polymer rails with real steel G36 ones. How's the accuracy of the Maxtact? I'll admit that the mags definitely look better given they went with the collarless design :)

    • @__-rc8ff
      @__-rc8ff 7 років тому

      The accuracy is great haven't try first strikes yet. But yeah I've had the same problem with my previous cqc. Had two and both leaked air brand new too. Returned those and got the tgr2 directly from manufacturers. Very nice guys there with bundle deals to get exactly what you want. Mags are great. Gun one in a blue moon jammed but that partly was because of double cocking the marker but an amazing gun for the price can't go wrong.

    • @abalrog42
      @abalrog42 7 років тому

      Ok, sweet. I'll definitely check it out in the future :) The M17 elite hasn't leaked air once on me so maybe I'm just lucky. If it could shoot like two more magazines, it'd be perfect, but that's mainly my only gripe about the rifle. Most, if not all barrel breaks and jams are a result of the magazines jamming (but it's mainly due to poor paint anyway, 99% of the time it works flawless) It's also accurate as hell.

They jammed all the time no matter what paint you tried and every time you had to pick it apart with little tiny tiny bits flying everywhere to clean it and it took forever to do. It did not take long before one of those bits got lost and you no longer had a functioning gun (well the markers never did function to begin with). Do anyone make a magazine fed milsim paint-ball marker that is easy to field strip and clean . More like a real gun without overly complicated mechanics and tiny bits flying everywhere when you do a field strip?

      We knew when we made this we would be flooded with comments on "wtf why is this thing here and not this!?" and honestly that was kinda the reason it was a top 5 vid and not a top 10, we like the comment discussions. As for the hurricane, up in Canada they are exceptionally rare, so we just honestly had no idea how well they performed, and if we could even get one to do the video on. I'm for sure gonna check one out if I ever see it at a game.

      they are actually the same size, but they are shaped like a bullet and have fins so they spin like a bullet. They are essentially shaped paintballs that fly a lot further than normal spherical paintballs.

    I’ve been hearing from some friends that have had/have T15s that discourages buying one due to air leaks internally. Anyone have suggestions on whether I shouldn’t get it, or if they’re just throwing their markers recklessly?

      I saw a video on UA-cam about this not too long ago that some people just connect the air improperly and that's what causes leaks. I know this is late but just throwing it out there.

    Just out of curiosity, why did you not include the Tippman TCR? Any major issue/complaints? Out of all the mag fed paintball guns I've seen, it's been my favorite; just wanted to known your opinion (or anyone's for that matter).

    • @kevinsanders6268
      @kevinsanders6268 7 років тому +3

      Thomas Akins The TCR is just an upgraded Tipx with less customization. The TCR was my first paintball gun, and it was extremely hard on paint, and it was way too time consuming to take apart, due to the clamshell design, when you inevitably broke paint. I did love using it, but I prefer my Tipx over the TCR any day.

      It's kinda obvious that they don't have a sales contract with MCS as far as the 468 and Maxtact R-Series goes, but limiting the video to 3 brands is weak for a "non-bias" Top 5 list. Especially since there wasn't even any mention of runner ups
