It’s people like you who make DIY possible. Thank you. This helped so much. I just swapped mine today on my 07 compass. Same engine. Tight space but everything was exactly where you showed it to be here. 💯 🔥
Man, I just wanna thank you so much for demonstrating this AC Fix. You was really detailed oriented, and you provided a lot of helpful tips. I'm getting ready to replace mine this spring before summer hits.
Don't for get to add the oil when opening the system, and yes purge the yellow line before introducing the freon to the system. Thanks for the video, very educational.
Hi great video. My journey 2.4 makes a rattling sound when AC is turned that comes from the engine, would this be a sign of a bad or failing compressor? Thanks.
Amazing video! Saved me a ton of $ my car was just serviced flush, freeon and ac service now compressor needs to be replaced, do I need to bleed still and do I need to use vaccum and add freeon after? Thank you sm 🙏🏻
I am going to replace the Compressor and Condenser on my 2014 Jeep Patriot this weekend. My only question is, did you have the High-Side Line connected and opened when adding the refrigerant back into the system?
If mechanic flushed and already added new freeon, today. Now compressor is out do I still need to bleed the line and do last vaccum step and more freeon? 🙏🏻
Think I would have bleed out the freon line at the Schroeder valve stem a little once I hooked up the freon can, otherwise you introduce atmosphere air back into the system
Thank you for all your videos. Especially, in my case, this 2.4 l engine setup. It's identical to my 2013 dodge avenger 2.4 l. Your videos have helped me alot!! For real. Thank you. But, my ac started blowing warm and the heat still works, no bad noises at all and both fans, ac and radiator, are not working with the ac on. I thought I ran something metal over the other day but I found out 5 minutes ago the front plate on the ac compressor came off, exposing the bearing and what not. I believe it's the ac clutch. Does this sound familiar and what steps can I take? Compressor pulley still works great semen Lee. Lol, seemingly*
Good, but you made some major mistakes. In your case it seems like just your clutch was broken. Anyway, you need to check the oil color, indicating damages inside of the compressor, therefore you would have to flush the whole system. Next is you need the EXACT amount of the correct! oil for the compressor, which depends on the compressor used and the system. Another one, you should absolutely change the dryer after opening an AC system because the dryer is highly hygroscopic. Maybe your system will work for a while like that, but you wont have the same efficiency and you created some potential failures. Greetings

What should the psi on the blue line should say after filling up when 2 cans?
Great video brotha
Can you demonstrate changing the Dryer with the Condensor for the same Vehicle 2012 Jeep Compass 2.4 Thanks
Do you have to go to a mechanic to bleed the lines or you can buy the pump and bleed the lines to make sure all the old Freon is out yourself
You can do it yourself if you have the pump
If mechanic flushed and already added new freeon, today. Now compressor is out do I still need to bleed the line and do last vaccum step and more freeon? 🙏🏻

In the end, how much gas pressure did you put in?
DID YOU ADD PAG OIL TO YOUR COMPRESSOR BEFORE INSTALL?

Great video
Did you get the 3.5 cfm vacuum pump or the 5 cfm vacuum pump?
It's a better video on this
Did you purge the yellow line before adding Freon ???
What does it usually cost to get the whole A/C clutch and compressor fixed?
Just I have question ¿what is the right pressure need be the system?
I need this badly but there’s no way I can do this on my own
hello is it compatible with jeep compass 2013 2.0 petro?, i'm from brazil
Thanks for the video, I ordered a compressor kit and they sent a condensor too, is it really necessary the replacement? Thanks!
If it’s easy to replace I say yes might as well have all that new and replaced.
Bro tengo una pregunta
we're can I buy the bolts????

Can you drive the car before removing the air ?
That was my same question, and are we able yo drive it back to the location we are working on it at as well?
Should I remove compressor or it can be fixed without removing it all?!
compressor needs to be removed in order to be fixed
You don't have to remove entire belt just off compressor
