Bob Barker and Betty White almost made it to 100 and they both loved animals. Rest easy Sir.
Far as I'm concerned, count the 9 months of conception. They made it
There's a leap year every four years, so they made it to 100.
Omg, can you imagine these two in the afterlife? Oh my, their spouses must be having a time with them.
He got as close to 100 as he could without going over.
He hosted Truth or Consequences before the Price is Right, both had an audience participation format, so he was a natural to host that show on CBS.
Thank you for being our childhood hero, and our beloved host. R.I.P.
Hey when you have lived to nearly 100 you don’t mourn…this legendary tv personality got to live a full life and enjoyed his retirement years to the hilt. What a remarkable life!
Agree!
Amen
No argument here
I’ve grown to have so many fond memories of watching Bob Barker, all throughout my young life. It hurts that he came short to reaching a $1.00, on his big wheel, but I know that we’ll do all we ever can for him, to celebrate his next birthday, in his memory, and everything else.
May you rest in peace, Bob, with Dorothy Jo, Johnny Olson, Mark Goodson, Rod Roddy, Ralph Edwards, and Betty White.
Amen.
And Tom Kennedy is up there and he host the nighttime version.
But $0.99 all but clinches a place in the Showcase Showdown!
Don't forget Dennis James who hosted nighttime TPIR in the 70s
Don't forget Rod Roddy's other buddy, Peter Tomarken!
So many pets saved thank you Bob Barker!
He was a good man and a great game show host. Proabaly the best that ever lived.
Bob Barker is a national treasure ❤
💯💜
At 99 Bob almost made it to 100 without going over the actual retail price!

@soapydesigner...Good one! Bob Barker always had a great sense of humor. I think he would have liked that.
Betty White beat him though. She was 17 days to her 100th while Bob still had a couple months.
That Price Is Right theme song a reassuring sound of childhood. RIP Bob and your love of animals (and delightful punch-up of Adam Sandler). No idea of Native background! RIP Bob Barker.
RIP Bob.
You will be missed. Thank you for making people aware of pet overpopulation.
Human Overpopulation
Rip Robert William Barker, you will be missed
😞 I watched this show in my youth it kept me out of trouble......Thanks Bob 👍
Agreed
What a true legend he was. Rest well Mr Barker
Bob Barker will always be the price is right host
R.I.P Bob Barker 1923 2023 🕊
I will always remember this man. I used to watch the price is right with my grandma everytime I visited her growing up. She has been deceased since 2006 and I will never forget her, this show, and bob Barker. May they rest in Peace 🕊️
RIP Bob, bless you for all you did for the animals ❤❤❤❤❤. Our world will never be the same!
❤
I grew up with Bob watching his shows I will miss him deeply 😢
That's right my favorite host Bob barker died the day before my birthday and I watched you every day when I was about 11 years old and I'm sorry that I didn't write you a letter
I will miss you Bob....you lived a full life.
He will certainly be missed. I have been watching the Price Is Right myself for 15 years. Great video as always so keep up the great work.
I hope that He'll be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2024.
Well he retired in 2007, so he’s been retired longer than you’ve been watching the show.
He is one of the best game show hosts and did it his way. along with what the Price is right has done and now Drew Carey will keep this going.
I never knew some of these things about Mr. Barker but I always sensed he had a good spirit. One of my grandmother's loved his show Price is Right and I watched with her for years; it was a lot of fun to watch the contestants and always was a joy to see his friendliness towards contestants. Rest in power Mr. Barker, you left the world a better place and thank you for being a dedicated voice for animals. It's more important now than it's ever been 🙏
"She came on down and they came on out" 😂😂 Rest easy Mr. Barker 🤎🙏🏾🕊
Im 52 I remember cutting out from school countless times In the 80s and watching this
🤣
RIP! Thank you for sharing your talent and love for animals with the world. You will be missed terribly. God bless you
RIP to the world’s greatest eMCee: Bob Barker (December 12th 1923-August 26th 2023). Bob’s birthday is shared with Frank Sinatra
From his days on Truth or Consequences (which my father grew up watching) to The Price Is Right (which my younger brother & I grew up watching), Bob did it all. When he, then-announcer Rod Roddy, and then-Barker’s Beauties Nikki Ziering & Claudia Jordan took The Price Is Right from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for a one-night-only 30th Anniversary Special show at Las Vegas’ Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, that became my all-time favorite show he ever hosted; and 20+ years later, it still is. Rio is my favorite casino in North America because of Bob. As I aforementioned Frank Sinatra, Bob (10 years into hosting Truth or Consequences at the time) unknowingly started a rivalry with Jonathan Frid when he had joined the gothic horror-themed soap opera Dark Shadows as vampire Barnabas Collins from April 18th 1967 until January 27th 1971 (Bob lived through Jonathan’s entire life [as well as several of his co-stars]). I always dreamed of being on The Price Is Right when Bob was still hosting, but that never happened (as you had to be at least 18 to be on the show, and I was 11 when he retired). I would stay home sick every day from school and just watch Bob go at it. He was also a joy on the 1973-1982 version of Match Game. He and Gene Rayburn had lots of fun together during tapings. His memorable fight sequence with Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore was priceless. His 19 Emmys and his induction into the Television Hall of Fame are an achievement to the television industry. When he first returned to the show in 2009, I was thrilled to see him back on the set. He promoted his book Priceless Memories and I bought soon after that show aired. Since then, I’ve read the book 7K+ times. On his second return in 2013 for his 90th birthday, he looked like he hadn’t aged a day. I loved how Drew Carey let Bob call a contestant to come on down. But on his third and final return on April Fools Day 2015, I cried tears of joy in seeing him step back onto his throne. At the time, I had a gut feeling that The Price Is Right would do something spectacular, and I skipped my college classes for the day. But, in a million years, I NEVER imagined it’d be Bob as the surprise. I wept tears of joy in seeing him step out from behind the doors standing against the hexagonal wall. He played Lucky Seven like the good old days
When I heard on social media that Bob died yesterday, my love for the game show world died with him. I cannot watch a modernized game show (even The Price Is Right) without seeing Bob’s face over another host. He was my childhood. Rest in peace Bob 😇
It was his life mission to get as close to a dollar without going over.
Bob Barker will be missed but never forgotten.
RIP Bob Barker! 😢
Part of My Childhood Is Gone!
good riddance
Bob Barker will definitely be missed!! I grew up watching it when he hosted it!!!
🤷🏻I can say I at least say I tried 3 times to be a contestant on The Price Is Right Game show many years ago, but I was never picked to be on contestant’s row I would only end up being a audience member. I did get to ask Bob Barker a question during a commercial break. He was kind and funny.
That's a cool story.
He saved countless animals who are voiceless and helpless with his activism before it was socially acceptable let alone fashionable. I envision St. Francis patron Saint of Animals greeting him with an embrace and saying well done good and faithful servant. RIP dear friend and advocate for animals.
Your were the best thank you Bob I grew up watching you .
R.I.P. Mr Bob Barker
You did good!!!
He was such a happy part of my youth that it’s very hard to know he’s gone even though I never really knew him.
A piece of our childhood died yesterday.
Betty White was a part of mine, as well, and both legends came short to reaching their big milestone birthdays.
SAME HERE
I was so sad to hear about it
Two did if you watched the Batman Animated Series growing up.
Arleen Sorkin, the original inspiration and voice actor for Harley Quinn, also passed away yesterday. :(
I grew up watching The Price is Right back in my elementary school years when Bob Barker was still on the air at that time during the 1990s.
Bob Barker was more than just a game show host. He's an iconic legend of CBS until the torch was passed to Drew Carey after his retirement in 2007. America will never be the same without the iconic voice of The Price Is Right over the years.
In the famous words of Bob Barker: Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered. Goodbye, everybody.
Bob will forever be the ringmaster of the greatest game show on earth
Thank you Bob! Thank you very much. Major contributions to society. #decades
One of, if not the last, pieces of my childhood. RIP Bob. Thanks. Glad you didn't overbid.
Show was just the best ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
R I P Bob Barker thanks for years of hosting The Price Is Right sorely be missed you’ve won a pair of Angel wings 💔💔💔😢😢😢🎤
good riddance
Rest In Paradise Bob 😇 🙏💙
good riddance
He made it close to 100 without going over. RIP
It's taken me a couple days to really figure out how to put this into words. While it may have been Gene Rayburn and Match Game that drew me deeper into the game show genre and made me the fan I am today, there is absolutely no denying that it was Bob and Price that laid the foundation. When people talk about him being the "patron saint of sick days" that is absolutely the truth. For generations including my own, The Price is Right has always been the carnival you visit if you're a kid home sick from school. You can take part in the games no matter how far away you are, and no matter how sick you are. And for so many of us, Bob was the host of that carnival who always had something comforting and familiar for us to enjoy, but also a cavalcade of new games we'd never seen before. You'd never get the exact same experience twice, but Bob was the steady, consistent hand managing all the attractions. Thanks to all of that, you always knew when you put on CBS in the mornings, you were going to have a fun hour.
I hope they figure out some way to put up a small memorial given that the show has moved out of Television City and the Bob Barker Studio. Something akin to the small plaque memorial for Jack Barry that The Joker's Wild had on its slot machine in 1990.
Definitely a life well lived. Thanks for all the memories Bob. Always watched the Price is Right when he was hosting it.
R.I.P. The Legendary King Bob Barker.
1923-2023.
Many kids who played hooky from school and stayed home during their summer vacation will miss Bob.❤
We had it made. Growing up in the 70's and 80's was the best. Sorry...youngsters. We had more stuff to watch that was worth watching then.
What a wonderfully warm, kind, gentle, and generous human being! You are sorely missed! And your animals miss you too.

Another fact about the price is right,Tom Kennedy hosted the nighttime version of the price is right, and the top 2 contestants who win the most goes to the showcase. It was the half hour version and there was no big wheel. But Bob Barker will never be forgotten and he is up there with Tom Kennedy and Rod Roddy.
Bob
Baker
Cool on

Let also remember the human population who are starving to death for lack of food and the homeless who are living on our highways and byways. Compassion is an action that barely exists in our world. The rich take care of the rich while they turn a blind eye to the needy all around them. Love your neighbor as yourself!
RIP Bob Barker
